He was interviewed by Sean Hannity and told him "that he would not be intimidated by people calling and telling him how to vote on the immigration bill" He said he has "been doing this job for 40 years" and would vote how he saw fit. When did he stop representing what the majority wanted?

Apparently a Dallas lawyer thought people would, and came up with a web site USPatriotcompanies.com to advertise employers who pledge not to hire illegal immigrants. It is only 4 weeks old and has had 15,000 hits, per this article.

What do you think?

Or is it a left leaning propaganda machine that all tax payers have to chip into from taxes?
If Liberals whine about the Conservatives owning the radio airwaves because they cannot put out a show that is listened to by a large enough audience to provide advertisement dollars to support it , could you imagine if there was a conservative one that they had to help sponsor?

We let them because they belong here.
They belong here because we won the war
They lost the war, so their economy depends upon us.

It seems to me that you guys are in a bit of trouble some election time and your party to be showing the beginning signs of fraying-due to a pretty unpopular war. While I am no fan of Bush, I think that republicans should probably like him a bit less. It seems to me that anything short of total victory in Iraq spells trouble for you guys-just hope that Greenspan is getting too old to accurately read the economy. Given the political climate right now, a fairly large number of republican senate seats seem at risk while relatively few democratic seats. Both sides have weak candidates but with the political climate as it is the edge has to go to the democrats. I think it is entirely possible for the dems to pick up anoter 5-6 Senate seats and perhaps a few more house seats. I don't like one party controlling everything and am hopeful that you guys can figure out a way to keep some balance in the government. Love to hear opinions of others. Good luck in 2008.

I just came back and would like to know any experiences with the navy or any branch in general. The Navy sounds like the safest branch of them all, nonetheless the funnest. Serving my country is great I want to do that, BUT WHAT ARE SOME REASONS NOT TO GO IN THE NAVY? He told me Iraq is not a place I would be deployed and I voluntarily would choose to go anywhere pretty much...I am 18, enrolled in college for this fall, will be in debt..etc..and so you see why the military appealed to me because he told me I can earn a degree and get paid and all this great stuff. Am I going to die? Am I going to go in underpaid? Screwed in some way? Anything like that would be great to know. thanks ppl

I have never worked in Washington State first of all and before Utah I was stationed overseas for 4 years. Any help will be appreciated.

I was flipping around today and was looking for the FOX perspective on the wiretapping subpeonas, but watching the Big Story on FOX one got the alternate reality exclusive interview with Larry Birkhead, the father of Anna Nicole Smith's baby. There's Rosie O'Donnell's daughter playing dress-up as a soldier, ooh! And Steve jobs about to make another billion dollars - aah! Floods in Texas, fires in California, and somebody suing a candy company - ooh la la.

Even the political segment was just gossip and fluff; Doug Schoen, promoting his book "The Power of the Vote" discussed Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama's remarks that the evangelical right has hijacked religion in this country.

Explanations as to why would this be?

They always say that most are peace loving people? How do they know this? Do peace loving people fly planes into buildings? Wouldn't the safest thing be to send them to a place where they can't harm the USA? Would you feel good if a family member of yours was killed by one of them, just because we respected their religious freedom?

I've been separated from my husband for almost a year and our divorce is almost final. It's been MONTHS since the kids and I have had any phone, email or otherwise contact from him (he lives in another state). The deadline for his response to the divorce papers served on him in May came and went with no response, so my lawyer filed a default against him, so I think he's basically waived his rights to see the kids unless he takes me to court and sues for partial custody. Is that correct?
