I was flipping around today and was looking for the FOX perspective on the wiretapping subpeonas, but watching the Big Story on FOX one got the alternate reality exclusive interview with Larry Birkhead, the father of Anna Nicole Smith's baby. There's Rosie O'Donnell's daughter playing dress-up as a soldier, ooh! And Steve jobs about to make another billion dollars - aah! Floods in Texas, fires in California, and somebody suing a candy company - ooh la la.

Even the political segment was just gossip and fluff; Doug Schoen, promoting his book "The Power of the Vote" discussed Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama's remarks that the evangelical right has hijacked religion in this country.

Explanations as to why would this be?

Brian--isn't that why most journalists will interject their previously planned newscasts with breaking news?

The Big Story is not a hard news show and is a news/talk show. These need to be prepared ahead of time and the subpoena came up today.

Again it is an entertainment show not a news show.

Maybe the same reason that more than half the Internet news did not. It is hardly news at this point - Congressional committees have been issuing subpoenas on a daily basis.
The fishing started in February & it has not slowed.
Fox & the others will report it after the White House answers what they will do.

The story will become news when the court fight starts to shut down the search for any information to embarrass the President. Where is the story of the new Congress doing anything they promised to do upon election?

Fox is all of a sudden acting like politics, there is politics going on in this country. Now if it was the Dem's with all this going on it would be another story. It's almost fun watching Billow, tonight instead of hard news about a vice president that claims that he has no obligation to let the American people know what he is doing, he has on a dog owner that is going to court not to have his dog fixed.

The Fox News I watch aired it. THey have the video posted on their website if you need to see it again. I guess you watch a different Fox News in America than I do in Iraq. Or are you just upset they didn't run the story into the ground?

I haven't watched Fox today but I'm sure it's been mentioned. It's on their front page on their website in the politics section though.

It's a good thing that liberals keep watching Fox to keep us all updated. I bet that boycott doesn't work. LOL. (I'm not saying ur liberal cause I don't know...just talking in general)
