They come because we let them.
We let them because they belong here.
They belong here because we won the war
They lost the war, so their economy depends upon us.
We are the Power

Quit 'letting' them come into the country.
They do NOT belong here. Immigration is an out-dated practice and should be stopped.
What war?
Again, what war?
We are fast becoming (if not already) a joke instead of a power.
If people want to immigrate to the USA, give them a gun and let them serve 2 years in the Military to earn their freedom like our boys do.

Why should there country depend on us to help them . Texas won there Independence from mexico . The US army or the government had nothing to do with it . Mexico has had the same chance to grow as the US has but for some reason has not . Could it have been the corrupt legal system . Don't tell us we have to help them because we stole their land . The only land we stole is from the Native Americans . If you want to talk about stealing check out mexico's history and see what happened to the People who owned the land before the Spanish arrived . I remember reading about all the gold taken and the blood the covered the land just because of the greed of the Spanish . The only country we owe is Iraq and we owe them a goodbye here is your country back and good luck .

Yes they do pay taxes it is the law as well. They come into this country to get a job. In order to have a job they need to receive a paycheck. In a paycheck they have taxes taken out. Why is that so surprising to so many people? ... I don't know why? I guess reasning doesn't help because people are going to believe what they have been taught.
Immigrants pay taxes, yes it is a fact. The only people who don't are those who get paid..."under the table". Which is not only immigrants. It is all those people who do not want there wages to be shown. Hence... men who are getting child support deducted from their checks!!!!!!! HELLO!!!!! They don't pay taxes. Everyone else has to pay taxes. Immigrants are not allowed to receive welfare not social security benefits. So the money stays there... the government keeps it and the legal americans use it up. What now?
Don't use the immigrants as scapegoats for everything. Let's not go back to the mentallity of 1930's-1939 Repatriation act!

Immigrants don't just come from places like mexico.
This is probably the only thing I will ever agree on with the Republicans. There are laws to follow, come to the United States in a legal fashion. Do not break the law to get here.
Letting people run all over our country with out following our laws is disrespectful. We don't have enough jobs for the people who are here, We have homeless, and we have people who don't have healthcare because they cannot afford it with the crappy pay they get because of the drain on society from the immigrants that come here and use up our resources. It is a trickle down effect and US citizen land up suffering because large groups of people from other countries are disrepectful to our laws.
Our economy depends on the immigrants being regulated. I think they can come here, just do it the right way.

I'm not a republican but let's think about this. Millions of undocumented people coming into the USA is a case for national security no question. It's not only Latinos that are coming in but Arabs and muslims some of whom are terrorists.
They don't pay taxes yet use are public education and public areas.
AND they take American Jobs. No not jobs americans wouldn't do. I just had the news on and heard that on some farm there were illegals (okay people who could vey well be illegals. they had poor paper work but the employers weren't allowed to dig any deeper because of employees rights). These people make 36,000 a year and don't speak English. You tell me what poor Amreican working for minimum wage or out of work wouldn't take that job?
Also if they would just attempt to learn english I might not have as big of a problem with the whole thing. I went to a restarunt and the women didn't understand "water" I had to go agua por favor

They are not undocumented they are criminals. They are the same type of criminal as I would be if I stole into Mexico, or another country. Why is that so hard to understand? America has had immigration laws since the 1800's and anyone who has come here since those times, without authorization has been a criminal.

I can't quite think of an answer at a suitable level of stupidity to match the question that you asked. What comeback could match the level of ignorance as your proposed rationalisation for the criminals that manifest themselves into our society, drain our economy, and blatantly steal our money. Let me put this into terms that you could better understand, the only good thing that the illegal immigrants are good for is construction. period.

Would any of the people who hate illegals have the courage to go to a country where they don't speak the language; and then work for very low pay and still find a way to send money back to your family?

I do think that Mexicans aren't really a problem here. I would be more happy if Mexico secured it's own borders and worked with the US rather than US cutting off the line between US and Mexico. NavyFiance- they can be charged with those crimes in GA. Your state needs to change that.

Just the act of ILLEGALLY entering the USA is a CRIMINAL act.
It has been since the organization of the US Department of Immigration over 200 years ago. Since when does BREAKING THE LAW means you are not a criminal? Get a clue. Maybe Blue can help you since you can't seem to discern between right and wrong.
