I was looking at the Navy and Air Force to go OCS but they have tried to get me to go enlisted and get a commission, I am not going to do that. I am 26 years old, have Purdue degree in TV/Radio, starting to possibly consider Army to get an officer position, maybe in the Reserves. I want to go back to school and get my Master's (I go for free regardless if I join the military--dad is disabled vet). What would be best if I was looking to be Public Affairs Officer? Army? Then, Active Duty or Reserved?

Namely the big mart stores. If so then most likely you are buying things made overseas. So what you say ? - Well the truth is that we don't like to overpay for things.
Big business is enslaving ( taking advantage ) of Mexicans and they are not saying anything about it.
Business love to pay low wages - so don't cry when you see illegals come here.
The root of illegal immigration is BUSINESSES that employ them and treat them like MODERN DAY SLAVES.

New Gallup data show confidence in Congress at all time low
Just 14% of Americans have a great deal or quite a lot of confidence in Congress.

This 14% Congressional confidence rating is the all-time low for this measure, which Gallup initiated in 1973. The previous low point for Congress was 18% at several points in the period of time 1991 to 1994.

Now before you people explode on me I want you to actually imagine if this were reality. I personally believe that both sides in the long run would be happier if the South had won. Each side today is so politically sectionalized that it would make life so much easier for both sides if we were separate countries. Now I’m not saying I don’t love my country I do, but I don’t love all of my country. I live in Texas and we are being overrun with Mexicans and if we could make laws on our own I can promise you they would be back in Mexico right now. Today it would be the South in Iraq and we wouldn’t have a problem with it, now I’m not saying that we don’t have Democrats here but not enough of them to count for shi+. The North could do what ever they wanted also, they could whine like France up there for all I care. It is my opinion that by this time each side would have gotten used to life without the other. And we couldn’t imagine life being the same country.

I mean...I love it. I think people dont appreciate what they have...Government is not perfect but not horrible either..

People want to much. The military and any federal group works hard to do right. And to yell and riot for peace (riot??) is just wrong..there human too. I may be a teen but It makes me realize MORE how people are. Do you think you can function without them??
We have EVERYTHING..I mean what other country has the Bill Of Rights?? Freedom of speech? and Religion? where in some country its death for that...
Any Country that goes against its own Authority and Government will fall.

That was the reason Bush gave for us going to war in Iraq. When that lie was disproven, the reasons for going to war began to evolve into other reasons to try to make it still look appealing.

I know its a privileged job position for a correctional officer at a jail/prison but I was wondering if anyone had any tips for moving into this job; such as ways to prove yourself more worthy for the job, tips for any tests or anything.

Thanks

My belief is that it compared closely to:

1) The Philippine-American War
If you haven't heard of this war, it is because they usually don't teach it, for a very good reason. If you are a knowlege nut like myself, read this.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philippine-American_War

If you try to compare it to the American Revolution or World War II, please do. I could use a good laugh before I go to bed.
