They have nothing to play but the race card to attempt to lobby for this pathetic bill.
12 million are...12 million too many.

When Regan signed amnisty in the 80's the number was stated at 300,000, by the end of the deadline over 3,000,000 people were granted amnesty a 10 fold increase.

That may or maynot happen again but we all know 20 million is a major underestimate. I suspect 50-70 million people will apply for z-visa's, why do we have to bring in parents, grand parents and bothers and sisters of adults????? this is insanity

I have an idea.

We give them all documentation: name, rank and serial number.

We then give them a rifle, ammo and a uniform. We send all 12 million of them to Iraq (now, that's a real surge) and when they return after their tour (which shouldn't take too long), they can then be legal citizens.

Two birds with one stone?

Added note: The left will never stop whining.

I don't know that any number will be enough to them. Sucks, doesn't it?

Machoman:
There are plenty of hard working legal immigrants. The problem is the illegals that break in and start demanding rights that don't belong to them. My parents came here legally and have paid their dues. Why shouldn't this be expected of everybody?

CAllende - the point isn't that some illegals are good people. The point is that they are illegal, they have broken our laws to come here and know it and now our sickening politicians are trying to ask US to bend over and take it for them.

We won't do it and if we have to replace every open borders senator, we will.

I cannot believe that they not only want the ones to stay here to become legal, but also adult children, brothers & sisters, parents......

20 million could double or triple if they get their way.

Okay, First of all, I would like to say that I am a legal immigrant to the United States. I would like to say that their should be no immigration laws, seriously. The Declaration of Independence states that all men are created equal, not just those born within America. Being from another country, (NOT MEXICO) I realize the massive opportunity we are presented living in America. However, it seems that millions of people want to deny others from partaking in this dream-- and that itself is the most UNAMERICAN thing of all.

Not until there are at least 90 million.I'm not young anymore and want to marry again before I die.I figure 90 million will at least improve my chances of snagging a desperate one.
