Immigration is a hot topic. Most of us agree that illegal immigrants should be deported and that the amnesty bill is not in our best interests at all. I've not seen one person totally disagree (other than a few democrats, Bush, and McCain).

Of course, this being a republic and not a democracy, we have no votes, no say on specific bills. Some of these bills affect us directly, the everyday hard-working people, rather than the officials making these decisions for us.

In fact, I think it's one of very few subjects both parties can agree on - that we don't want amnesty. We don't even want the illegals we already have. We need to band together now, more than ever, to say not no, but hell no to amnesty. Why have I not seen anyone taking this to the streets of Washington? In the distant past we've seen people protest many things, and brought about change.

Why have Americans become so complacent?

I cannot work due to service connected injuires for over a year now and also per a dr's advice that if I continue to work I will be paralysed. I have claims in with the VA which takes years and I have applied for SSI and SSDI. I have an attorney to work my case for SSA but the attorney states they need more medical evidence to win my case. The problem is the Veterans Administration is making me wait 3 or more months for medical appointments. My wife works and Social Services says she makes too much money at $2000.00 gross per month. So I cannot get medicaid. But if it takes months for appointments at the VA I will not have much medical evidence. My wife and I cannot afford her jobs medical insurance. Anyone know of how I might be able to get medical treatment for evidence besides the VA or Social Services?

I can go onto Megan's Law. com and look up all the pervs in my neighborhood, but to knock on their door and tell them how disgusting I think they are is against the law.

They've gotten away with their crimes. They stole an child's innocence and I don't see why they should be shielded from the public. Most of the are repeat offenders who will never learn.

Why do child molestors and rapists get more sympathy and help from than their victims?

If Putin's concern that Bush's interceptor-missile system in Eastern Europe is honest, then why doesn't Putin suggest to Bush:

"Mr. Bush, Why don't you install the system in Georgia or Azerbaijan, which actually borders Iran itself, and aim it towards Iran!??"

I know that Putin does not approve of NATO presence on former Soviet territory, BUT if it is true, that the interceptor-missile program is aimed in reality at Russia, and that Iran is just a pretext and excuse, then wouldn't it be brilliant of Putin (to make an exception in this case "in the name of global security, in solidarity with the West") to thwart the whole purpose of this multi-billion dollar system by having it actually point away from Russia!!

And if Bush actually REFUSES to install the system in either Georgia or Azerbaijan (but aiming away from Russia itself) then it would actually put Bush in an awkward situation because then it would really suggest that the whole point of the system is to confront Russia!

So, if Putin makes this compromise to Bush, it would put Russia in a position to win either way, and at the same time back Bush into a corner politically.

If abortion is baby killing then shouldn't it invoke the death penalty? I hear many saying they oppose abortion, but I don't hear people state their opinions on what the punishment should be. If friends or family members assisted, should they be imprisoned?
What if it were retroactive? would you support rounding up past abortionists and executing them, too?

Let them clean up their own and create jobs for these unskilled and uneducated workers!

NEW YORK - Fox News Channel issued a second on-air apology Wednesday for mistakenly running tape of a different congressman while reporting on the indictment of Rep. William J. Jefferson on bribery charges.

Chairman John Conyers of Michigan, whose picture aired while Fox anchors talked Monday about Jefferson's indictment, had been unhappy with Fox's apology Tuesday. Both congressmen are black.

Conyers was reportedly upset that Fox's first apology was nonspecific and didn't mention he was the victim.

On Wednesday, Fox News anchor Martha MacCallum explained to viewers that a production assistant picked up a tape that had been identified as a meeting about Jefferson. The picture showed Conyers.

"We regret this mistake," MacCallum said. "We in no way meant to suggest that there was any connection between the Jefferson indictment and Congressman Conyers. We have extended our apology privately to the congressman and we do so here as well."

A Conyers spokeswoman had no comment about the second apology.

Fox is just like the * administration. It blames its deliberate lies on the mistakes of underlings.

When a woman walks up to you and says "i'm pregnant", do you ask her when the puppy or turtle is due?

For those who say its not a human being or just a potential human being... Unless the woman was getting freaky with the family dog, that is a form of a human being. If you are now 20, 20 years and 8 1/2 months ago, that was YOU, not a FROG.

I feel for anyone in a bad situation but how that leads women to this idea of killing their developing child just amazes me. Beyond that is these weird excuses pro-abortionists come up with like 'its not human'.

I truly cant stand my life, as it is, anymore! Im going to carefully pack all my husbands belongings up, take them to his sons home and change the locks! I married him almost two years ago, im now 47, he is 69. I experienced some major life changing traumas three years ago and was about at rock bottom, when he just asked me to marry him out of the blue, I knew him a little, through a friend. He appeared to be so wise, kind and controlled. Well, within a matter of weeks it was obvious he was not a all the person i had thought he was, now he was a bully, punching my son, totally controlling, jealous beyond belief, trying to alienate me from my family, making me feel less than useless at everything i did. Because i have a sick grown up daughter, i often had to go off to care for her, so doing something about this mans behaviour towards my son and myself kept being put off. I have now applied to the courts for a divorce. My life is now truly hell. I cant make him leave because I signed him

Crystal Gail Magnum, the $2 harlot, over the now proclaimed "innocent" student-athletes at Duke University? Yes, "innocent" as opposed to "not guilty for lack of evidence" as stated by the North Carolina Attorney General. Why did all the radical womens' groups, and black radicals all side with the hooker/stripper and still haven't offered an apology to these great student athletes?

So, are we saying that the addition of cultures such as Irish, Italian, and Chinese were negative to this country? Have we not benefited from this added knowledge?

I live in S.E. Michigan and I have heard something about petitioning the court but have no idea where to start. Can someone give me advise on EXACTLY what steps I can take to do this? My son is 15 and I want to change his middle name to my stepdad's last name (the man who stood up to be my dad and his grandfather and has no siblings to carry on his name). I found a website that wants 69.00 and I am NOT paying that! Any other answers are welcome! :)
