Of course not. They would complain to their (leaders???) that we are coming to take over their country. I think our government needs to be replaced with officials that will not only listen to those that elected them but would act on their behalf!

No, when an American cross over to Mexico they throw you in a prison Labor camp and make you build roads and stuff, the United States has one of the most lenient border policies of any nation. We should force all border violators to work on building a wall to keep those lousy wetbacks out of the country. Its bad enough were losing jobs every time a company moves its factories oversees, due to lousy government programs pestering American companies about every trivial thing. But we have to have these immigrants from the south stealing jobs from other Americans. Not to mention there are numerous people from other nations (not including Mexico) who have been trying and waiting to get into this country for months and these beaners are cutting to the front of the line and forcing all the people trying to get into the country “the legal way” to wait even longer. If that’s not bad enough they don’t speak English, they don’t pay taxes or anything because they’re not registered citizens. All they are is a drain on the economy. There was a time when the United States produced 1-2 thirds of the world’s recourses, now all we do is consume. Because we have whiney liberal tree hugging fanatics who have more power then they should have, trying to make large companies do things their way. Do you know that oil refineries only refining oil at 75% normal capacity, because environmentalists don’t want the big bad oil companies to build new refineries (some of which were destroyed during hurricane season) Not only that but there is also almost a 500 year supply of natural gas in the gulf of Mexico but the environmentalists wont let us drill there because we mite kill some fish, some fish that no American will ever lay eyes on. There’s also a ton of oil in Alaska, you know that thing we have that’s close to Russia that’s only purpose is a place to harbor American nuclear weapons and serve as a tourist attraction. I wont say that’s not beautiful land up there but who cares? We also built this big thing called the Alaskan pipe line that we don’t use anymore. America would be a lot better place if we didn’t bend over to our third world neighbors and dumba$$ hippie tree huggers. Anyway I think I should stop typing, I’m kind of ranting now.

No we wouldn't. They can't even provide electricity in parts of Chiapas. They have no control over their own cities and their ecomomy would be in the tank if it weren't for remitances sent from illegals in the US. Mexico is much better off now than it was say 50 years ago but they still have a long way to go to catch up with the developed world. Traditionaly in Latino culture you don't tell someone something they don't want to hear. If you tell a latino that they are doing something wrong they automatically assume that you are insulting them. That's one of the reasons that Latin America is soo poor. No one wants to tell the screw ups that they're screwing up. No one calls the corrupt out even though everyone knows who is corrupt. I have 6 years of experience living in Honduras to back up what I say. Hell, carpenters down here can't even hang a door straight. Things are obviously better in the US. It is too bad we didn't keep Mexico after the 1848 war. I'm sure Mexicans would have a much higher standard of living. One thing the racist La Raza people need to understand is that we took all of Mexico and could have kept it. We just didn't want to. Personally I think Texas by it's self could whoop Mexico & all of Central America in about a month. Ooops I forgot, Central Americans don't like Mexicans because their borders with Central America are locked tight. Guess they don't want an illegal alien problem like the US has.

I hate to bust the Kat's bubble BUT it is NOT a racial issue -- learn the DEFINITION OF RACE. It is not a ethinic issue neither but one of nationalism, or national pride.
Yes Mexico has tougher immigration standards than the US.
Yes Mexico has jobs that are in the US and you need a "worker's visa" or their equivelant (I think it is called a sponser).
But why would one want to go to Mexico and do those jobs, when the health benefits, pay, and retirement is a lot worse that what is in the USA.
NOT ALL HISPANICS THAT COME HERE ARE MEXICANS, so many Americans need to realize that. Also, if we are against the people coming to this country ILLEGALLY, doing jobs that the trash of our country are to lazy to do, then we should ALL go back to the land of our ancestors; whether it is in Europe, Africa, or Asia. The first TRUE white (for lack of a better word) in this country were ILLEGALS, but the Indians that were here first had no problems welcoming them in with open doors.

That's a weak question anyway. No one from the US is ever going to invade another country as mexicans have ours because we are the country everyone wants to come to! We are the land of the free, we have resources many countries only dream of, and money is more attainable....And I am in support of immigration reform and I certainly don't play the race card. I'm just sick of nasty foul-mouthed americans that say hateful things about a group of people(not a race) and making the rest of us americans that have a little bit of compassion, look bad. It's alright to be against illegal immigration but it isn't alright to hate on people that way.

They would not. Central Americans who cross the southern border into Mexico and are caught are treated very roughly. Some were killed (perhaps by accident) when Mexican soldiers were trying to capture illegals riding on top of a train.
The Mexicans don't mess around. Unfortunately, they hypocritically oppose any toughening of border control by the United States. What's good for the goose...

Nope! it will never happened. They are crossing the border, to get in here then have the nerve to complain that they wasn't treated right...it wasn't fair for Americans and to a legal immigrant people who undergo through forms and pay fees just to work here in USA....legal immigrants waited for a few months, or even a year just to get visa in USA to be able to work as professional like (nurse, doctors, IT's etc)....On last Miss Universe pageant, on question and answer portions, Mexicans were booing the USA, I supposed...you guys maybe know why they were booing...hmmmmm

You are right. The rich would not use a Gringo for slave labor and pawn the rest off on the Mexicans to pay!
You think they are treated well. In your dreams!
I don't support people here illegally, and I SURE AND HELL do not support those who HIRE THEM CRIMINALLY!
Why don't you talk about that for a change? No way, you just want to go after the victims.
You are part of the problem, you won't arrest those who hire them illegally. The whole state of California turns a blind eye to those used as farm laborers. Have to have your cheap wine!

Mexican laws are much stricter.
One must be financially secure and place no burden on their resources.
One must not have a criminal background.
The General Law of Population establishes the rights and obligations of foreigners and the immigration status permitting foreigners to enter Mexico for the purpose described therein, such as to carry out business and remunerative activities, which are prescribed in individual authorizations granted by the Ministry of the Interior.
They have many restrictions, including:
Retirees: foreigners over 50 years of age engaging in non-remunerative activities but receiving from abroad funds such as interests from investments of their capital in certificates, banking institutions, or from any income coming from abroad, provided they receive a monthly income equivalent to 400 times the daily minimum wage in force in the Federal District and 200 times the daily minimum wage per family dependent. There are restrictions regarding residence in certain cities of Mexico in which there already are a high number of foreign residents.
and
Among the various requirements that may apply to obtain immigrant status are possession of a valid passport, demonstration of economic solvency, and presentation of a certificate from the police authorities in the last place of residency indicating there have been no criminal violations, and payment of fees, personal appearance before the granting authority.
We need similar restrictions.
Mexico has a single, streamlined law that ensures that
foreign visitors and immigrants are:
• in the country legally;
• have the means to sustain themselves economically;
• not destined to be burdens on society;
• of economic and social benefit to society;
• of good character and have no criminal records; and
• contributors to the general well-being of the nation.
The law also ensures that:
• immigration authorities have a record of each foreign visitor;
• foreign visitors do not violate their visa status;
• foreign visitors are banned from interfering in the country’s internal politics;
• foreign visitors who enter under false pretenses are imprisoned or deported;
• foreign visitors violating the terms of their entry are imprisoned or deported;
• those who aid in illegal immigration will be sent to prison.
If the United States adopted such statutes, Mexico no doubt would denounce it as a manifestation of American racism and bigotry.
Read the info at the links in sources.
Mexico has no tolerance for illegals or people who won't benefit their nation.
Our laws enable Mexico to use the US a dumping ground for their non-productive citizens.

If kids today actually wanted to work there would be no need for anyone to "cross" the border."They" are merely filling a need that has been made by the youth of america and their refusual to work.It is not a racial issue, race is always brought into a discussion when facts don`t relate to your view. I say get off your asses and do something productive,earning a dollar is much more respectful then whinning about how much better you think you are then some one else.
