That is a great question. I've been saying that for years! Bash campaigns of any kind are stupid and childish.
Candidates should be proving what they want to do, how they are going to accomplish it, and what they think is possible in the 4 years they are going to be president.
Pointing fingers and making derrogatory statements does not tell anyone anything, does it?
Why don't you go to the campaign page of the person you think would be the best president and ask that question to them there?
It is an excellent question.

bush bashing is easy and may get votes. It also distracts from the FACT that they have no real "plan"
It also fills up time just in case they are asked a question that requires a specific answer to what would you do if....
Has anyone actually seen a printed and bound "plan" that sources the basis ,volume, execution costs lus the cost &time to fund and build the infrastructure /resources needed to execute the plan..NO because people can be managed with a simple belief that a plan exists...
As for new ideas...the politician that spouts off new ideas is summarillly swatted by their "leadership" Canyou imagine the language that grandmom pelosi would use if xx congressman announced a new idea that she had not approved??? or that the "party honchos had not approved?

You just asked; "Why not think of something else rather than doing that? It's getting old." Actually they are doing something else. The time spent bashing President Bush is using up the time they should be using to answer your question and issues. It's that simple.

Actually if you watched the Republican Debate there was a specific question forcing them to "Bash Bush." It was a pretty underhanded move by the Liberals at CNN. Most the Republican Debate wasn't about Bush at all.

Because (I fear) they're all pretty much mindless idiots without originality, a brain or sense enough to know when to shut up. The Dem.s are now all telling us about their religion while the Repub.s are seriously down playing theirs. Hillary said that it was her faith that got her through her husband's infidelity? REALLY? Having cruised through her autobiography, I don't remember her ever mentioning how important God is to her. Someone should tell these harlots that they'll all go to hell for lying. And for trying to steal votes from the religious right...
They don't know what is important. All they know is mud slinging. God help us all!

Because that's all they can do, yes he made mistakes, and they take those mistakes and try to build off them. I'm with you I want to see everyone come up with their own ideas.

Because the majority of the voting public are mindless lemmings who are unable to think for themselves, thus they act on slogans and propoganda.

The current administration is a hot button issue for the majority of Americans. Many want to know how we will distance ourselves from the man.
