okayyyy so here is my question. Me and my friend are going to japan for six months. We are doing a work abroad program. my friend is not a canadian citizen however he is a permant resident but he is a british citizen. Does anyone know how this will affect obtaining a six month work visa???thanks

I'm anti-zionism, anti-war, pro-judaism, pro-islam, anti-terrorist, pro-palestinian, anti-occupation and... thoroughly confused.

I am not anti-semitic.

I guess my question is how can I be open with my jewish friends about my disgust for the occupation and what israel represents without them feeling that I judge them negatively.

Or should I just avoid talking middle east politics with jewish friends?

why should hate crime legislation be passed? what good will it do? just take away the rights of the majority of americans, to protect the radicallist agendas of the civil rights groups? besides, does the motive really have more importance than the crime it's self?

And how do you prove hatred? I watched on The Coral Ridge Hour a man who was a former homosexual tell the story of how he was punished by law for telling a gay man that the path he is taking goes nowhere, only to pain. The man was motivated by compassion and mercy, not by hate, yet he still had to go through the months of trials and (if I remember correctly) had to go through simpathy training, led by a lesbian couple.

This legislation hurts more people than it helps. besides, it's unconstitutional. the first amendment forbids the abridgement of the Freedom of Speech.

Why is the VAWA (Violence Against Women Act) even on the books? Is it not a clear contradiction to the 14th Amendment, providing EQUAL protection under the law? It seems ridiculous to me that only women can be legally protected from domestic violence, when it's been shown that men and women commit acts of violence at similar rates. If a woman beats a man, throws something, threatens with a weapon, etc. is this not a crime?

If we are truly interested in equality, why not have laws that state NO gender biss? Do we not really care about any man if he is abused, beaten, threaten, assaulted, etc.?

Why is this law allowed to continue to be on the books?

I purchased a British version of "Loaded" magazine in 2004 that had this really cool ad for the British Royal Marines. The slogan was, "99.5% need not apply!" and the picture showed this guy doing push-ups while puking during a rain storm. Does anyone know where I can find a copy of this ad on the Internet?

I have several personal experiences. Whenever I would do some seasonal work for my former boss, Mexicans would go behind my back a tell my boss little petty things like.

He thinks he is a supervisor, make him where the same shirt as everyone else.
You and him are too close.

They also talk about Americans like a dog in Spanish
All they want to do is bring their whole damn family in to work for people.
They disregard the Americans who would like to have a job for minimum wage, just for a short period.
Americans do do the work Mexicans, opps........ illegal immigrants do, but the illegals make us work in a hostile forieng enviorment

Being self employed, I don't need to pass any tests, but this question was sent to me by an aquaintance. Seems like a great idea to me, so naturally that means libs will hate it:


Like a lot of folks in this state I have a job. I work, they pay me. I pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as it sees fit.
In order to get that paycheck, I am required to pass a random urine test, with which I have no problem. What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people who don't have to pass a urine test. I have no problem with helping people get back on their feet. I do on the other hand have a problem with helping someone sit on their ***. Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check because I have to pass one to earn it for them??

Sick of the hughe tax breaks they get while we pay more taxes that go into thier coffers. Corporate welfare is at an all time high while schools in the USA crumble and roads turn to dust.
