work visa?????

okayyyy so here is my question. Me and my friend are going to japan for six months. We are doing a work abroad program. my friend is not a canadian citizen however he is a permant resident but he is a british citizen. Does anyone know how this will affect obtaining a six month work visa???thanks

Any citizen of a country could apply for a six month work visa in Japan as long as the requirements are met.
