Why in the world would you want to run for president?

I think you would have to be nuts to want this job. What are these people thinking?

Each person has their own reasons. Some want the power, some want the opportunity to pursue a personal agenda/issue. Some just plain want to make the history books, and you rarely get there as a governor, member of congress, or cabinet member.
