This very question asked by a teenage conservative wannbe gives sore insight to just how afraid they are of having their "flat Earth" theories shaken by other people's contributions.

My mom told me yesterday that " i have to be at age 21", but i said "why then did you let my brother move out when he was 18?" and she said "he had a job" and i told her that "i will have a job at my bf's moms resturant, as a full time manager." but she claims that by oregon law you have to be age 21, is this true?

Seems liberals are all over the board. They only care about who is available for them to pull the wool over the eyes of. Global warming? adding taxes? Yet there are TONS of people who say... "oh yeah, what a great idea these liberals have." Anyone else wish they would stop listening to hollywood and politicians and start listening to scientists who actually study the field and know what they are talking about? Not liberals eh? They apparently don't need science, or God. Anyone have a problem with that?

9/11 conspiracy theorists claim that, since fire cannot melt steel, the WTC buildings must have been purposely blown up. In fact, Rosie the Clown even said that it was "The first time in history that fire melted steel".

Well, the laws of Physics must be changing, because it melted steel, AGAIN!

Can you imagine? The first two cases, EVER, of fire melting steel, only about 6 years apart! How amazing! Does anyone have any idea why the laws of physics are changing so rapidly?

---But shhhhh! Don't tell them that steel must be melted, by fire, to be formed in the first place! Shhhhhhh!

Personally, I think we should have the unfettered right to respond to the askers and the answerers . . . . and by name too . Restricting that freedom, leaves many good debatable issues 'dead in the water' , at least if you actually follow Guidelines . I've seen this suggestion on other sections of Y/A too . Logical rational people explaining that some sections require only one or two true answers, and others like this one, can have a myriad of answers. . . . mainly because of opinion and also because new ideas are worth exploring .

What would you change ?

It would just stay at the same place. For example, it cooled between 1940-1970, during the same time there was a drastic rise in CO2 emissions which lead to ice age theories. Then it started to warm, and now the warming theories. Rather than blame man for Global warming, wouldn't it make more sense to acknowledge that the earth is constantly changing?

If 911 was planned by jews or Bush or whoever, wouldn't it have been a really poor job? Why make the cover a plane crash and rely on "the fire" for weakening the superstructure? Knowing full well that people with no concept of physics would question this untill the day they die. I mean.. rosie says fire can't melt steel, do you think she will change her opinion any time soon. And if the demolition charges exploding were so easy to see isn't that really really poor planning? I mean, anyone could have guessed that someone might point a camera at this event.. right? Wouldn't it have been easier to just park two truck bombs in the basement? Or did they already do that under the guise of the blind shiek? Yeah.. that must be it.. they used that one already. And what did america gain from invading afghanistan? They should have just cut to the chase and framed iraq so they could only focus on the one country.
