This very question asked by a teenage conservative wannbe gives sore insight to just how afraid they are of having their "flat Earth" theories shaken by other people's contributions.

Shake Shake Shake
Shake Shake Shake
Shake your booty!
Shake your booty!

DONT LET THEM SHUT YOU UP.

What are you talking about?

Did you ever want to shake a conservative for saying things like the following?

"George, the question of imminence isn't whether or not someone will strike tomorrow, it's whether you believe you're in a stronger position today to deal with the threat or whether you're going to be in a stronger position tomorrow,"

"It was the president's assessment that the situation in Iraq was getting worse from our point of view."

Nice save, Condi! That's telling Tenet where to get off!

Perhaps learning when to shut up is not such a bad idea.

teenage conservatives are the worst kind. Having just raised a couple of teenagers myself, and living in a very Republican area, most of my kids friends were Republicans/Conservatives. They would spew back what their very Republican narrow minded parents told them. None of them could answer any questions on their own. They were like tape recorders. I told my kids they could be what ever they wanted "politically" as long as they did the research on their own first. I told them they could not simply listen to my political opinions and that they had to form their own opinions based on facts. Needless to say, they are NOT Republican / Conservatives.

In answer to the main question, no. But we need to beware of absolutist teens. These are the kind of people who become brownshirts -- thugs who enthusiastically intimidate free thinking citizens on behalf of fascist regimes.

I have wanted to, and have shaken liberals in the past. I usually do it by debunking their idiotic theories and by voting for candidates that oppose liberals. My kind of shaking is much more effective, but I can understand the frustration that other people are feeling.

It's a childish way of expressing that they believe they're the only person on earth who is right. Which is arrogant enough to nullify anything they have to say.

No, I try to refrain from that much anger that I would want to shake anyone.

Cheers and have a nice day

Nah, I'd rather slap a liberal

No...I don't want to shake them, but I sure would like to lock them in a sound-proof room.

Shaking would just mix up all those false theories even more.

Amen. Saw that Q, it was almost cult-like in its reasoning.
