My guess is that it will most likely last until the next presidency. Bush will pass it on so that someone else takes the blame for this historic blunder.

curiously the forces of the west have secured peace and stability interior the far or close to east. Why they theory that this became the the superb option time to do it somewhat is a distinctive remember all mutually. the undeniable fact that there isn't any lasting peace interior the east isn't important curiously. the actual reason is the Bilderberg team of which many western leaders including bush, blair and clinton are contributors. This communities quest for a sparkling international order, One international government and worldwide autonomy necessary to stability the means between the middle eastern oil production and that of the mexican or lesser oil producing worldwide places. Oil is the biggest commodity this planet has and any instability between competing manufacturers could have financially shifted the seat of worldwide means. the present scenario with the oil leak in bp`s container and the winding up of the armed occupation of the middle and close to east is barely the top of the iceberg. BP are ploughing thousands and thousands into their south american operation. The fact of possible extra exploration interior the north sea is extra evidence of the means oil holds.

Seems like we'll stay anywhere we invade. Do we really think the US will leave a place it has invested billions of dollars in destroying then rebuilding?

Apparently you didn't see the news report yesterday about the rebuilding, saying that 30 billion dollars had been misspent on shoddy work that would have to be redone. That's billion with a "b".

It is not supposed to work.
The more civil unrest can be made to escalate, and the lack of mod cons people were accustomed to certainly helps, the more excuses for the US and their poodles to stay.
And if they are not driven out they will stay until the last drop of oil is squeezed out of the soil.

We're not occupying, we're liberating. And LIBERATING will probably take another 2 years so that the Iraqi gov't would be able to take over.
