Ever want to just shake a Conservative and say wake up, see the real world for once. Why is it they want to just believe anything that they hear? You want to talk about science, you must not do research. There are far more scientists in this world that support Global warming theories than not. God, well that is your business, not mine, get what I mean there? Pull the wool, yeah um the war... horrible appointments, list goes on and yet you see right past the bad and only see the .. well there is no good so I don't really know what you see.

The overwhelming majority of scientists agree that global warming is a huge problem. Our own pentagon issued a report warning of dire consequences of global warming for England and the North Atlantic in the next few years. The only scientists who don't agree with the data are actually in the pay of oil companies.
You sound like you are actually talking about conservatives because we know they reject science and their God is the unreedemed mass murderer of the old testament instead of the loving Jesus, Lord (God 2.0)

Wow, liberals are using global warming. So what! The conservatives are making Al Qaida seem like they are the only threat to the U.S. And even though it may seem that a lot of people listen to celebrities and their views on global warming, it's not always that way.

I am not a lib, but anyone that disagrees with you gets labeled as such. So I'm sure you're going to want to shake me because;
I have a problem with conservatives trying to tell me what to do with my reproductive system.
I have a problem with them imposing their views and religion on others, and then telling me I will rot in hell because I refuse to accept them.
I have a problem with them, via the FDA, trying to ban the sale and use of alternative medicine and organic foods.
I have a problem with the oil industry being so closely allied with the administration, and manipulating scientific and environmental studies.
I have a problem with them manipulating and manufacturing information to send us to war with a nation that had NOTHING to do with Al-Qaeda or 9/11.
I have a problem with the FBI invading the homes of and monitoring the personal correspondence of American citizens.
I have a problem with the administration doing away with Habeus Corpus, taking innocent American Citizens and Canadians and labeling them "terrorists", then shipping them to Gitmo or Egypt and subjecting them to torture.
WAKE UP AMERICA! How many more rights and liberties must be eroded before you say "enough"??

Actually, I have an acquaintance who is an environmental scientist, and he has actually told me that most of the scientific community agrees that global warming is caused mainly by humans. Also, since you bring up financial issues, why is it that Bush has taken Clinton's surplus and turned it into a record deficit? Not only that, but conservatives are traditionally supposed to favor smaller government, but under Bush, it's gotten MUCH bigger. By the way, you might also like to know that there are PLENTY of religious liberals, just as there are some conservative atheists, so that bit about us not needing God doesn't hold true.

Huh?
Many liberals ARE religious, many DO have God, most DO listen to scientists. YOU are the one who is without science - though I can't say whether you are religious or have God, both of which are irrelevant to addressing global warming or determining fiscal policy.
Your problem is that you haven't attended school. Oh wait, that pesky virtue of universal education is one of those evil liberal impositions, isn't it?

I am a "liberal" and yes, I have wanted to just shake a liberal. Typically, it is those liberals who are anti-Israel that just make me want to scream.
Of course, I would rather pay some more in taxes and let some lazy people go by without any effort of their own before I vote for someone who will tell me what I can or cannot do in my personal life.

Nah. I have a problem with conservatives who only listen to the small percentage of scientists who back their twisted beliefs on global warming. Of course I would never want to shake them as doing something like that simply because I disagree with them is just neanderthal like.

Do staunch conservatives ever use discussion boards other than to whine about liberals and others who don't fit into their negative worldview?
