Gonzalez testified before that he knew little about the firings and had no direct involvement in the case.
This was bold-faced lie to which he now admits.

If I was on the committee I would ask him why he shouldn't be detained and prosecuted for purposely consciously lying and contempt of the US Senate?

And then I would have the Sargent-at-Arms come and stand by his side for the rest of his testimony.

He could take the 5th after that if he chose, and ask for a lawyer.

That's what the democrats need to do.
They are required to enforce the law. And the law says you msut be truthful in Congressional testimony.

What if I sell the slide show to other students for the cost of the CD? Does that make it against the law? I want to make sure I don't break any copyright laws.

During his 8 year reign over 500,000 Iraqs died due to the sanctions, mostly kids. If we put Bush on trail, why not Clinton also.

I much prefer to depend on myself than the self-serving crooks and liars in congress.

Congress cannot prevent crime that is a fact.
Law enforcement cannot prevent crime that is a fact.

Only you can save a life. And even if it only saved one life wouldn't it be worth it.

positions of power in the Bush administration can know so little or be so uninvolved as to be aware of what is happening around them? Dennis Hastert with Mark Foley, Alberto Gonzales with the U.S. Attorney firings, Donald Rumsfeld with the progress of the conflict in Iraq, V.P. Cheney insistant that Iraq will succeed in becoming a democracy, Paul Wolfowitz that Iraq will pay for itself. This is the party that rants about liberals destroying America. How do you rate the Bush Administrations performance?

Just like tha Japanese did in WW2?

I know it would be a waste since the nuke wouldnt be targeted at any particular strategic location.

Wouldnt it be a "psichological" strike?

But is it possible?

I heard a great debate this morning on the radio . And I am interested in your opinions .

For the record , I tend to think that it should not have been shown on Free Access Network News . I've heard several stories about how this has affected children , and with Free Access Network News , there's no way we could have prevented our children from viewing this .
But I have another reason to add . I think the Murderer(btw , the news media often refers to him as the 'gunman' or the 'shooter' ) wanted to have his video seen by all , and that's why he sent it to a news company . Surely , there are other sick people who can and probably will emulate his style and behavior. . . . . . Looking for that Big Event in the news to show us all just how deranged they are .
Nevermind the fact that they are seeking Glory for Murder. . . . . a Glory that they will never see !!

What are your opinions ?

Recently large demonstrations have taken place
across the country protesting the fact that Congress
is finally addressing the issue of illegal immigration.
Certain people are angry that the US might protect its own borders, might make it harder to sneak into this country and, once here, to stay indefinitely.
Let me see if I correctly understand the thinking behind these protests. Let's say I break into your house. Let's say that when you discover
me in your house, you insist that I leave. But I say, "I've made all the beds and washed the dishes and did the laundry and swept the floors. I've done all the things you don't like to do. I'm hard-working
and honest (except for when I broke into your house).
According to the protesters:
You are Required to let me stay in your house
You are Required to add me to your family's insurance plan
You are Required to Educate my kids
You are Required to Provide other benefits to me & to my family

Stephen King, and other horror writers? Wasn't Cho a writer?

CNN, (Communist National Network), taking steps to weaponize what one might say like they did in Soviet Union?

Perhaps CNN is right, "all the signs are there," to stifle dissent by the Government vis a vis it's media apparatus CNN? Using Cho as a prelude to further an agenda.

If Nazi Germany had been honest with its citizens, and had told them that the USSR was being invaded not to free the people from oppressive Communism, but rather as a means to seize and control the Caspian oil fields, would WWII have turned out differently? Is it possible this strategy may have given the population something they could understand, instead of wondering why their forces were malingering around the USSR four years after the "liberation"?

Why do most American cars suck?

American cars are just cheap rubbish. They use old technology especially in the suspension set-up. You have like 4 liter engines and you can only get like 250 bhp. Its pathetic really. The interiors are just plastic and tacky and the mpg is crap

European and Asian cars are so much better. Cutting edge technology, high mpg, well made with nice interiors, and have STYLE. something American cars do not have

Just look how far this American car has come from 1998 to 2008

http://blogs.edmunds.com/.ee92993/cmd.23...

http://www.dragtimes.com/images/8732-199...

Looks quite the same.

There is one car i do like from America. The ford mustang looks good but maybe a little tacky on the inside.

Why cant Americans make a car that can go round a corner?? Everyone else can. Whats the problem? Do you have no corners in America? It must be well boring to drive over there.

Another problem you Americans have with cars culture is NASCAR the most boring racing of all

This boy who killed the students at VT was reported for stalking two different girls, and reported by his teachers for his writings against women. Additionally, police report that after the initial shooting, they thought it was a domestic incident. As a result, they didn';t act to try and find the guy. So here we have many instances of warnings, that nobody heeded. Why do we allow violence against women to go on, unchecked? Why aren't 'domestic' situations treated with as much, if not more, concern than a stranger being murdered? How can we change our laws or our attitudes to protect women and society from these types of crimes?

was his girlfriend asian? (haven't been watching all the networks), i know there was one asian guy posting here questions, saying "white" people taking all asian's stuff, and said now white men taking their women and girlfriends, was glad to see some asian girls post that that is their decision and no one "takes" them or forces them as to who they wish to date or go with.

some girls have posted on here that he didn't like females, don't know who he was stalking (never showed, as usual), but did anyone see on another network that he was ticked off his "girlfriend" (don't know how he managed to have one) was going around on him with another guy, i wouldn't blame her, if she wanted to get away from him : )

If you migrate to this country, you must speak the native language & be a professional or an investor. No unskilled workers allowed.

There will be no special bilingual programs in the schools & all government business will be
conducted in our language.

Foreigners will NOT have the right to vote no matter how long they are here & will NEVER be able to hold political office.
>
Foreigners will not be a burden to the taxpayers. No welfare, food stamps, health care, or other government assistance programs.
>
If foreigners do come and want to buy land that will be okay, BUT options will be restricted. You are not allowed waterfront property. That is reserved for citizens naturally born into this country.
>
Foreigners may not protest; no demonstrations, no waving a foreign flag, no political organizing, no bad-mouthing our president or his policies, if you do you will be sent home.

If you do come to this country illegally,
