Gonzalez testified before that he knew little about the firings and had no direct involvement in the case.
This was bold-faced lie to which he now admits.
If I was on the committee I would ask him why he shouldn't be detained and prosecuted for purposely consciously lying and contempt of the US Senate?
And then I would have the Sargent-at-Arms come and stand by his side for the rest of his testimony.
He could take the 5th after that if he chose, and ask for a lawyer.
That's what the democrats need to do.
They are required to enforce the law. And the law says you msut be truthful in Congressional testimony.
