Can you legally stop someone from leaving the country if they owe you money?

I bought a business(restaurant in a mall) from a foreign national. As per our contract, I gave her 60% of the purchase price as a down payment. The remaining 40% was to be paid when the business was transferred to my name. The business is still in her name...I've learned that she is close to defaulting on her lease with the mall...which would give the store back to the mall. The twist is that I"ve heard shes getting ready to flee to her country and I would then loose my deposit. Is there anything I can do to prevent her from leaving the country.

why would a judge approve a hearing?

OK well i wrote the judge in my town to get a charge off my record expunged off my record and it was approved to go to court so if only first time offenders can have something expunged then why did he approve my case for court which is in two days actually!

Do military personel properly question the individual ethics of each mission they are assigned?

Joining the military and signing Official Secrets Act - resulting in an inability to freely convey a story that does NOT PUT NEGATIVE RISK ON SECURITY, SAFETY AND HEALTH - could lead to problems. Constant threat of legal action could deny the public and serving personel information they may require. This inturn may lead to recruits joining when they do not know the entire truth about conflict.

Do the ground-force military personel ask enough questions of each assignment, or do they not care about the politics of each mission before they obey a higher command.

People willing to be maimed or killed do so not only when they do not recieve the whole truth - or may not express their personal experience after conflict - but they do so at a fraction of the remuneration i.e. wages, obtained by those that send them into battle.

Is the excitement of joining worth giving up other luxuries?

PLEASE: NO COP-OUTS ABOUT WWII. THAT WAR COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED BEFORE IT STARTED. READ THE BOOKS.

I purchased a business from an individual who lied to us about the profits&debits? How can I legally get out?

The business produces less than 35% less than promised. The debit is 20% more than we were told. All we did was sign a letter generated by the owners wife and it was notarized by the local bank. Is there a way out? HELP.

Are the leaders of the Democratic Party in league with our enemies?

First I support the War in Iraq and I'm voting for John McCain for President YA YA YA!!! Oh he's soooo cute for an older man. I'd love to see a picture of him when he was 18 (like me). Ok down to business. I read an article on the internet just before that the Democrats will propose another funding scheme that President Bush will probably veto after he vetos this one. Our brave armed forces need the money now. Are the Democrats receiving money from Al Qaida. Nancy Pelosi is in league with a criminal who happens to be in the House of Representatives named Jefferson. Is Al Qaida funneling money to the Democratic Party through this Jefferson in exchange for not funding the military?

Would you atleast be open minded about the 911 conspiracies?

First off I am not supporting all of the propaganda and movies on the net about 911. However, I do feel it is important from educated scientific minds to think critically and to look at everything from every possible scenario and possibility. These simple your stupid answers from Bill O'Reily and other Neo-Con Republicans are just bull headed remarks and obviously non of these people have been around some very intelligent people. I do not claim to be a genius but I know quite a few and I know how they think. They think about every possible option and piece everything together scientifically. All I am asking instead of just writing off that there is no possible way that anything of the sort could have happened, that you open your mind and think about every contigency that could have taken place.
