I was thinking about joining the navy or the airforce....if i were to join the navy I would like to become a submarine officer and if i were to joing the airforce I would like to become a fighter pilot....Im only 16..so any suggestions on colleges would be great or any other sugestions

It was not to long ago that people would give play salutes from down the street,and the ladies liked a man in uniform,folks would respect you because you were putting your life on the line for your country and what you belived in,even folks who did not belive in war could respect that.So what happend,I think it happend after Vietnam with "babykiller",or mabye we have been on top to long and have not had a good scare in a while.Opinons?

Please your opinions, I have never seen so many misinformed people, do you not think these people are dangerously ignorant, not evil, just incredibly brainwashed and ignorant that anyone with an evil plan that comes to power can use America's weapons to do what they want.

Yahoo reported yesterday the Pelosi approval rating has started the slide below fifty percent. stalling tactics including 20 mil for peanut storage while (as harry predicted) the regime let our soldiers dangle in iraq seems a bit steep. perhaps they can get out of the way and let the soldiers and generals do their job so the they can go home and the faithful can find something else to whine about?

The other day I was reading Newsweek magazine and came across some poll data I found rather hard to believe. It must be true given the source, right?

The Newsweek poll alleges that 67 percent of Americans are unhappy with the direction the country is headed and 69 percent of the country is unhappy with the performance of the president. In essence 2/3s of the citizenry just ain't happy and want a change.

So being the knuckle dragger I am, I started thinking, ''What we are so unhappy about?''

Is it that we have electricity and running water 24 hours a day, 7 days a week? Is our unhappiness the result of having air conditioning in the summer and heating in the winter? Could it be that 95.4 percent of these unhappy folks have a job? Maybe it is the ability to walk into a grocery store at any time and see more food in moments than Darfur has seen in the last year?

If council tax is replaced by a local income tax what's to stop outsiders buying up homes and contributing virtually nothing to that community?
Maybe there are plans by SNP and the Lib Dems to stop this happening but I haven't heard what they are.
