I hope so. It's morally reprehensible not to allow decent, hard working American citizens the honor to serve.

Perhaps then Republicans can get over their hate of people they fear. Remember Mark Bingham? One of the Heros of United flight 93 was a gay man who lived in Berkeley.

Deal with that hatemonger.

Irrelevant, really.

I am a decorated, disabled veteran who advises all young people to stay away from our military right now. Democrats and Republicans alike are abusing the selfless service of our troops. People are dying to meet political ends not to protect our nation. Don't let millionaire power-mongers like Bush and Clinton waste your life so they and their friends can line their pockets with more cash.

If you want to serve your country, join your local police force.

It isn't the President's decision... Bill tried it (to garner votes)... but couldn't get support from the Pentagon, nor Congress to change the laws. Yes it is the LAW that homosexuals can't serve.

I doubt Hillary would be able to do it either... even if she IS nominated.

She couldn't do it with her hubby's name on the title, what makes you think she can do it with her name? She is hated more than Billery ever will be. No, she won't get away with letting pansies into the military, where only the brave belong.
And who the heck says she'll win the White House, anyway? I'll bet you John McCain will hire a better decorator, and not steal the decorations, like Hells, and Bills did!

Nope, there's still going to be de facto discrimination so people will still be afraid to come out.
