OK well i wrote the judge in my town to get a charge off my record expunged off my record and it was approved to go to court so if only first time offenders can have something expunged then why did he approve my case for court which is in two days actually!

Just because the hearing has been approved DOES NOT mean that you will get the expungement, it only means that you are being given a chance to state why the charge should be expunged.

Because he wants you to present your reasons. He wants more details in order to make an appropriate decision. Also, it is not true that only first time offenders can get something expunged from their record.
