If so, what religion? Why?

Probably Jehovah's Witness. It has something to do with mixing your blood with someone else. I consider the group a cult. There is NO WAY I would let my child die by refusing a blood transfusion.

Yes it is. Church of Christ Scientist and also Jehovah's Witnesses may not be organ donors, nor may they receive organs. Infact Church of Christ Scientist may not even receive vaccines or antibiotics. They both believe "it's god's will", etc.

If it is, it clearly shows how flawed religion is when you cannot even donate a part of yourself to help another in need.

I believe Jehovah witnesses, I know they all are DNR's that's do not resuscitate.
