I began the process of obtaining SSI, myself. After being turned down twice...( at the reconsideration phase )...I anticipated a hearing coming, so I hired an attorney.

He sent me a form to fill out... that he forwarded to the social security administration. And, when I went to see him....I had already obtained all medical records and had them organized in a binder. ( I used to work for an attorney, briefly. )

In the meantime, a wonderful doctor of mine obtained a special form and filled it out and got my approval for SSI....so , now I will not be having a hearing.

Do you think this attorney will charge me the full commission. He has, essentially, only forwarded one form for me...to the SSI administration...which I filled out.

What do you think?

Ditto-heads are channeled from their master and like worker bee drones say, "bad liberal media"..." bad liberal media". Putin, in Russia, 2 years ago stopped criticism of his government by buying back television news media. Now, all the Russian news is pleasant and depicts patriotic themes. Is this what ditto-heads want?

I voted for Bush in 2004.I wanted him to cut my taxes and privatize S.S..He did cut my taxes. Then he strayed from the course.
Now we have government spending out of control and a new Viat nam just like the libs said we would.

Don't you think it's time to be emotional adults and admit he is a bad president?

Sorry it's not funny.

Washington to stand up for us. Those down in Washington, no matter on what side their on, need to be reminded that the Constitution starts "We the people," not "We the Politician". Does anyone agree?

...which would you choose and why? I don't really like either party much, and I feel that it isn't fair that they are the only two that have power. However, I know there are good things about both parties, and I want to understand the mainstream opinion on both. Thanks in advance.

Blair for a reason to go to war against Iran, just as the trick with WMD ?
Where those marines(or spies) send there as provocation? What were they doing in the Iranian Gulf water ?
As one former Bush advicer said a month ago on CNN , " i believe Bush & Blair are cooking something to go to war against Iran " & added " it will have to happen between April & July".
What do you think ?

My boyfriend has his contracted hours from 7:30 - 4:30 and he is paid accordingly. At 4:30 he is expected to pick up another member of staff and run him back to the yard where they work. This takes him to 6 and he does not get paid for the hour and a half running him around? Is there a law against this?

He spoke to his boss and his boss just said "thats why you have a company van whether it inconveniences you or not". There is nothing mentioned about this in his contract or the company policy that work staff with a van are responsible for getting everyone else to and from work.

Surely there must be some kind of law against this as he was not told he had to do this when he started his job ages ago (this has just started happening) and it reads nowehre in his contract, and surely this is classed as overtime and surely he should be paid.

Anyone have any good advice on this matter?

Basically, i have only recently found out that i `apparantly` have a `formal warning` against me from my juvenile years...which i had no idea i had and dont believe it to be honest. This has stopped me getting the job of my dreams as i had no idea about this.
I have asked for a PNC (Police National Computer) check against all my details and will find out soon, the outcome.
If there has been a `formal warning` made against me at some point in my life but i am adamant that i have never received one or remember receiving one...can i appeal against it with the Metropolitan Police?

As we all know, Hillary Clinton was until a month ago, a strong and staunch supporter of the president on the war in Iraq. Even when most Democrats (in 2005) saw that the war was not going well as told, she resisted and continue her support. At the time, the poll was still favoring the president, thus, it was convienent for her to support the immoral and "rash" war. Now that the poll is against the president, she is now trying claim that she was against the war. Can somebody call Bill Clinton to shot his mouth up.

I see two different options so let me know which option you think is most likely to happen. Option one: It would help his campaign because people are more likely to vote for him because they know his family is going through a hard time so they vote for him because they feel sorry for him or Option two: It would hurt his campaign because it would be too hard for him to take care of his wife's needs and also do everything he needs to do to run a politcal campaign
