Where is he going to get the money to fund his war?

Former Thatcher advisor Lord Monckton has challenged Al Gore to debate the dubious facts presented in "An inconvenient truth". Will Gore dare to debate the facts, or will he Chicken, or more aptly "Chicken Little" out?

I think it is very possible that Gore may attend but may not answer a single debate question. Just look at how he was asked directly about his lavish lifestyle and if he would "Sign a pledge to live like most Americans" while being questioned by the Senate, and he refused to answer, but rather got this goofy smile on his face and muttered about solar panels and "carbon credits".

Who could take this guy seriously?

To back up their bull? Light is the enemy of darkness. Republicans are afraid of light being shed on anything they say or do.

I sent my green card application a couple of weeks ago and have yet to receive a receipt notice from the USCIS which is fine as I know it can take up to 30 days to get that.
However my checks for the filing fees have been cashed. Does this mean that my application was thorough enough and they wont be asking me to submit more documents and/or evidence?
(Please dont bother to answer if you are one of those boring sarcastic people who think only terrorists appy for green cards! I am genuinely and happily married to a US born citizen!)

This is just something that bothers me a lot. It seems that they want to get on everyone else who stands against the war, but they will not allow their own children die as the average citizen does.

I am a UK citizen and resident. I have an account with an online broker based in the US. I have a Will in the UK, but that will obviously not be valid under US law.

Is there an easy way to make a US Will setting out what I want done with the assets in the brokerage account in the event of my death? I would like to avoid flying to the US to have the Will witnessed if I can!

Has Ahtisaari given a final determination for consideration by UNSC? When is the next meeting of Security Council to consider the issue? How does the post-election scene in Serbia impact the speed of this process?

I could not BELIEVE this story when I read it:

Apparently Medicare is raising premiums on Birth control in colleges. The question I have to ask is:

WHY IS MEDICARE PAYING FOR BIRTH CONTROL?????

Has our society degraded so far that sex is now mandatory for all college students? "Let's see, I need my antibiotics, my Diabetes medicine, and...Oh Yeah! My birth control!!!"

Is this the worst possible sign of the times, or what?

--Of course, many Liberals are going to point out the fact that I am also pro-life. They are going to say "Well, you don't want them to get cheap birth control, and you don't want them to get abortions, so what are they supposed to do with their babies? You are FORCING them to be pregnant (I have heard this MANY times on this site)

Well, you could just NOT HAVE SEX.........

This is absolutely sickening! He cut the head off of a family's pet dog and sent it to a girl in a gift-wrapped box. This is psyhological torture and in my opinion this guy deserves a lot more than the typical penalties people receive for animal cruelty . He should get at least 10 years in prison for doing something like this. If someone our dog's head off and sent it to my wife in a gift-wrapped box, I'd be hunting the bastard down and killing him myself.

How would an association that is nearly bankrupt go about suing a shady developer that sold them poorly constructed condos which are less than 2 years old?

Would something like this neccessarily have to go to court or could mediation be used?

What type of attorney would handle such a case?

Do you ever catch Conservatives them referring to themselves as "WE" like they're speaking with a collective mindset. Are they really trying to say in BORG fashion, "WE ARE THE GOP. RESISTANCE IS FUTILE. YOU WILL BE ASSIMILATED. " and end free thought, free will and debate. What's your thought on this observation?
