Do you ever catch Conservatives them referring to themselves as "WE" like they're speaking with a collective mindset. Are they really trying to say in BORG fashion, "WE ARE THE GOP. RESISTANCE IS FUTILE. YOU WILL BE ASSIMILATED. " and end free thought, free will and debate. What's your thought on this observation?

Yes, we ARE the Borg.

The GOP is far more unified than the Democrats. That's why the GOP won the last two elections. If the Democrats don't unifiy soon, they will blow the 2008 election - a virtual 'gimmie'...

I have been making this comparison for years. It's refreshing to see someone else saying the same thing.

Edit: Funny how they seem to take that as a compliment. The Borg are the bad guys, cons... They're incapable of independent thought. One brain, many bodies. And they're evil.

I think your right in one since, we should never become a Borg like nation. However, I don't think all conservatives are that way. There are some conservatives that support the war, and some that don't. There are conservatives that think the Environment is extremely important, and there are some that don't. I think you get my drift. Those who say "We" are speaking for a group of people even though they can't really speak for everyone. Thanks for reading and God bless.

I really hope that you're under the age of 16. If you're over 16 and using references like "Borg" you are an enormous loser and will never have sex with a girl (a real one, not a blow-up one).

Collectives better describe Democrats than Republicans. Any of that socialism stuff is theirs. You're just wrong.

Republicans are great. We can relate to America. Dems hate America.
