Former Thatcher advisor Lord Monckton has challenged Al Gore to debate the dubious facts presented in "An inconvenient truth". Will Gore dare to debate the facts, or will he Chicken, or more aptly "Chicken Little" out?
I think it is very possible that Gore may attend but may not answer a single debate question. Just look at how he was asked directly about his lavish lifestyle and if he would "Sign a pledge to live like most Americans" while being questioned by the Senate, and he refused to answer, but rather got this goofy smile on his face and muttered about solar panels and "carbon credits".
Who could take this guy seriously?

Tell, in fact the reason I ask why anyone should take him seriously is that there are people who do. If his ideas were made into policy, it would likely hurt the American economy all for his made up fear mongering.

Personally, I like seeing marshmallow-like, bloated up arrogant politicians toss a football around with their family and pretend to take an active role in their childhood and growing up.
When you go on national TV and run an ad about loving your family and tossing a football around with them, make sure you're wearing a $1,000 suit, dress shoes and tie... And try not to act like a 4-yr-old girl throwing a football for he first time in your life.
Gore's too stupid to not attend a debate. He knows Hitler claimed that you need to tell people the most stupid things in order for them to believe you.
Unless a debate is on his soil and under his terms, it's not worth his time.

I've seen the movie and by itself it seems convincing and frightening. Since then I've heard numerous people disputing Al Gores claims and challenging him to debate.
The general consensus seems to be the he doesn't quite know what he's talking about in the movie and always turns down any challenge to debate. I'm sure he'll run from Lord Monckton as well.

The better question would be:
How could anybody, in their right mind, consider not debating with a complete lunatic like Lord Monckton, "chickening out?"

Considering Al's preformance at the hearing in Congress.
He will duck and run from it.
Al is in this global warming for the $$$.
He wants all of us to change our lifestyle but he won't.
Does that tell you something.
It is call being a hypocrite or typical liberal.

I hope he has his feathers numbered,he's going to get "plucked".
An honest debate would poke so many holes in BIG AL's story it would look like an old fish net.
