Hello all! Im an American who has been living in Berlin,Germany for almost 5 years. I came here and was married, but the marriage didnt last long, so i did not recieve eu citizenship. But i have been allowed to live and work in Germany legally in the pursuit of my music career. Every 4 years i must reapply to have my work license and residence renewed, and so far its been renewed 2 times without too many problems. From my understanding, after renewing it for the 3rd time (which is next year) i should recieve some type of permanent one. My question is, with the permissions and rights i have in germany, how difficult would it be for me to move to another european country, such as the Netherlands? My girlfriend is from Germany, and i know its easy for her, but we want to move together to the Netherlands, and i wanted to know if this is something that can be done without a lot of hassle. My situation is kind of complicated, and i would really appreciate anyone who could help.

my fiance's 1st baby mother and i started talking a while back about having our kids meet. and because i wrote a blog about how i felt about their situation she took me off her friends list and "printed out" everything i wrote to her. The thing is i never wrote her calling her names or anything of the sort. All i did was write her telling her that the way she was acting was wrong. i talk to her "ex-friend" and i saved all those conversations too, none of it shows that i am threatning her. i told her if she wanted me to take down the blog she had to tell me. but i know that i can express myself anyway that i want as long as its not slaughtering anyone else. the blog does not have her name in it and it does not have her information in it either. i dont know understand why she would file harrassment charges. is there anything i can do about false charges or anything?

Gun control only keeps weapons out of the hands of law abiding citizens. CRIMINALS will break the law to obtain a weapon. When you look at England, and Australia you can plainly see the increase in violent assaults, after gun control was enforced. Why dont we simply enforce the laws that we have already?

I'm genuinely curious about what people think, regardless of political party. And I'm talking about which feeling would be stronger, so please try to pick ONE of the two.

Not sure where this belongs but will ask here.
My friend had a baby over the weekend and ontop of a shitload of badluck (the baby passed away) the baby's father gave his stepmother the tape which he recorded the birth on. Now his family will not give her the tape until they make copies. It has her privates on it and she really does not want copies floating about without her permission. She doesn't want anything to do with the family and she already has a lawsuit pending on the hospital, but she wonders if she has grounds to take them to court and if she should. Its was her boyfriends property, but it is her in the video.

There is this police officer in my town who advised a person to do something illegal against me. I have the proof of what the officer said and did.
I can't complain to the sheriff's office because they're taking the cop's side (obviously).
There is no "internal affairs" that I know of and the police wouldn't tell me where/how to go about filling a complaint anyway.

The crime commited is a serious one (stalking). The police had no discression. By law they were forced to arrest this person. They refused. (I found out later that the police were the ones who told this person to do what they did).

I can't contact the media because they are extremely pro law enforcement here.

So... what do I do? I don't want to let this go.

Faulty logic, frequent spelling mistakes, shoddy grammar..... All are trademarks of the politically conservative Yahoo contributor. Do red states have schools ? Maybe 7-11 allows for their employees to have internet breaks like other firms have smoke of coffee breaks.

I keep thinking of the Geico commercials. But those cave men seem to be more evolved than Bush. They are better spoken at least.

Serious answers only please. I was wondering what, in an urban environment, the best vehicle for dealing with civil unrest (city war, rioting etc) would be, bearing in mind the streets would literally be clogged with hostile crowds.

The scenario we've been given is that we must drive through the city from A to B to pick up a friend, then back to point A, right through the trouble hotspots.

We've been given the options of a Porsche 911, to try and out-maneouvre crowds and other vehicles (driven by hostiles), or a Land Rover to basically smash through anything that gets in the way- which tactic is best, in all seriousness?

We are assuming that the hostiles are literally trying to topple the vehicle over and claw their way in, and you can drive anyway you want to to make sure you get your friend back to safety.

Thanks!

and Jim Plunkett was about to QB the Raiders to a Superbowl win over the Philadelphia Eagles.

It was January 19, 1981.

Since that day, either a Bush or a Clinton has been President or Vice President.

Does this concern anyone?

The US House Democrats are voting to cut and run, by placing a withdrawall timetable of our troops in Iraq. I think they must be afraid that Bushs new plan might work. The terriost must be rejoicing. Now all they have to do is wait us out.
