Id like to see the party affiliation of the us military, exactly how many gun conservative republicans have joined the military since bush has started this war? How many so called liberals are side by side with them fighting the "evil doers" not really an answer to your question but just a thought.

The same way people can keep mindlessly parroting Republican catch-phrases as holy writ.
"New" plan? What is it? What was the old one? If nothing else, this proposal for a timetable comes from a frustration with an inept leadership that has failed to clarify purpose, goals, and measures of success. The war just drags on and on, seemingly with no one at the wheel and no end in sight.

Bush's new plan?? What new plan? Throw more troops at the situation?
All bush is doing is trying to justify his earlier mistake by making other ones. It's like a poker game: you get a good hand and bet big, but when the other cards are put on the table you see your good hand was not so good. But you keep betting anyway, to try and justify your earlier bet.
now bush's hand was the wmd's and his bet was the troops. in these instances in poker and life it is best just to throw your hand away.

They were voted into office to end the war. They are trying to do that with the least bloodshed. If they really wanted to "cut and run" they could just cut off funding for the war.

Get your head out of your a**. Seriously, they were put in office for this very reason. To get our troops out. It has nothing to do with your delusions.
