You mean the "if it feels good, do it" generation? Absolutely. They are against the war against terrorists. They actually believe you can sit down and reason with a terrorist -- someone who would put kids in a car with explosives to get past a checkpoint, then run away before the car explodes. How can you talk to anyone who would do this to a child? How can you talk to people who can't wait for their kids to grow up to be a suicide bomber?

Yes, they will have depleted the Social Security funds and by the time Generation X and Y wants to retired they won't able to relied on Social Security. Most likely Social Security is not going to be here in 30 years. They're the ones in charge of the country in most major politica offices up until the presidency. Look at what they've done. I don't see anything good that has come from the Baby Boomers. Their debauchery during the 60s and "free love" agenda was embarassing and detestable. Now their practices in politics are just as detestable. They haven't left anything good for us.

Remember, baby boomers were born right after WWII through 1963. I am one and I realize your concerns and will give you a few facts and opinion.

We are in better shape and exercise more than any of the generations. Currently baby boomers run and manage 90% of our industries/companies. We are currently paying for with our taxes support and necessities for our parents as you will be paying for baby boomer's retiring. We currently run the United States with our purchases, government, etc., etc.

You can stay better educated and learn from baby boomers, good and bad, if you have the leaders to do it. I currently see this not happening, the leaders that is.

The baby boomer generation was the movers and shakers of this country. They ruined in one way and helped in another. They are the ones that changed political systems and morals. They are the ones that insisted on equality.

The baby boomers saved the western world and some of the eastern world from the stodgy old war mongers and racist wonks from the first half of the century.
We opened up government, protested wars, changed segregation practices, emancipated women and made education available to all.
We loved to scream "the Emperor has no clothes"!
We also had to learn some of the greatest technological changes in the history of the world, e.g. from slide rules to computers. From scythes to round bales. From steam trains to jet planes.
The baby boomers who have ruined and continue to ruin the US et al, are the ones who did not evolve from their daddys generation and continue to pollute, discrimminate by income and use young men's lives as tools to procure access to oil and other pollutants. You will always have the rought with the smooth.

Yes indeed they did. It that generation that decided food additives, chemicals, and processed convenience foods were a good idea. Now, millions are sick with illnesses that were uncommon before, and most don't even realize that the real cause of their illness is nothing more than food allergies and toxic reactions to preservative, artificial colors, etc. I shudder to think what my daughter faces in her adult life

No. But I do think by not properly preparing for their retirement they have created a tremendous tax burden for their children. We will be the first generation in America to have to make a choice between providing medical care to the elderly or taking care of ourselves. I dread it.
