They say that and then spend a four year presidency trying to find loopholes in laws to tap peoples phones and just forget to mention it to congress. It seems that they spend most of their time trying to find new ways to erode the freedoms enacted by the countries creators. The patriot act is full of them.

They just voted to pass a bill that they know will be vetoed because of it's pork spending. It is filled with funds that have nothing to do with the military. It promises money to shrimp farms, etc..

Is this proof that they are hypocritical, lying dirtbags with nothing more than a political agenda?

Liberals Relent on Iraq War Funding
House Likely to Pass Bill With Pullout Date
By Jonathan Weisman
Washington Post Staff Writer
Friday, March 23, 2007; A01

Liberal opposition to a $124 billion war spending bill broke last night, when leaders of the antiwar Out of Iraq Caucus pledged to Democratic leaders that they will not block the measure, which sets timelines for bringing U.S. troops home.

The acquiescence of the liberals probably means that the House will pass a binding measure today that, for the first time, would establish tough readiness standards for the deployment of combat forces and an Aug. 31, 2008, deadline for their removal from Iraq.
A Senate committee also passed a spending bill yesterday setting a goal of bringing troops home within a year. The developments mark congressional Democrats' first real progress in putting legislative pressure on President Bush to withdraw U.S. forces.

Here's a dumb question but how far is a "click"? If you need to travel a click or the enemy is 2 clicks away... how far is that?

In one of James Taylor's Songs. He wrote:
"There is a feeling like the clinching of a fist.
There is a hunger in the center of the chest;
There is a passage through the darkness & the mist.
Though the body sleeps, the Heart will never rest".

These words tell me that it's so much easier to Love someone. Than to hate `em. Yet, day after day we see bickering and anger coming from OUR Elected Officals. And this includes both Parties. Since it is much easier to Love, than to hate? Why are hatred and loathing such a mainstay in who is representing our Country?
If you agree with this conclusion. What are you wanting done to stop it? Is it possible to stop it? Do you feel like your Vote would make a difference?

It's all about Hatred and what we can do to stop it. `Cause it's gotten way out of hand. And I'm interested in knowing if you're as tired of it, as I am?

I have been trying to get a job with a recruitment agency. In a phone call yesterday, one of the staff was very offensive to me.

I have Cerebral Palsy which makes it difficult and painful for me to handwrite, but I can use a computer with ease. While talking to one of their employees he said that because of this that, in his oppinion, I am 'illiterate'. As you can imagine I was pretty hacked off at hearing this and put in a complaint about him.

During the complaint his boss clamied that they had been trying to get me a job but all the employers that they had contacted wouldn't be interested in me on health and safety grounds.

I don't accept this view and I was wondering if anyone on here knows what my rights are on this and if you know what the procedure is for me to take this matter further. I am not interested in compensation, its just a matter of principle.

Thanks for reading this.

Some how we stopped running these crooks out of town. And started believing them.

Maybe it was WWII and Roosevelt's leadership against the Axis Powers that made people start trusting Government.

Bush and Hitler both would commit revenge to anyone who crossed them. Bush has done this very thing to Wilson by outing his undercover CIA wife. Bush also did this with the firing of the attorneys that did not do his bidding. Bush has also made threats to the Congress when Congress was putting forth the subpoenas this week.

Hitler did this also by attacking the Jewish people. Hitler did not like the Jews because it was a Jewish Dr. who Hitler thinks killed his ill mother...so Hitler swore revenge.

I think that this similarity alone makes for a very dangerous person in the White House because Bush does not listen to reason or with an open mind. Look how Bush totally ignored the Iraq Study Group's suggestions?

Only a few would call Bush's economic policies great.....when it creates a 250 billion dollar annual deficit. If private business had the same attitude....the USA would be broke in 2 weeks.

The entire debt is 8.8 trillion dollars. Bush is making it worse.

Perhaps because it makes the occupiers feel morally justified? As if we are defending ourselves against a threatening enemy, when in fact, Iraq was never a threat to us.

The American public and media sure seem to eat it up just fine.

It really disturbs me how seemingly 98% of Americans and the media prefer to call our occupation something other than what it is.

The war was finished over 4 years ago. We defeated and disbanded the Iraqi army. "Mission accomplished". Remember?.
