At the end of 2000, the national debt totaled $5.628 trillion. Estimates for YE 2006 puts the national debt at $8.611 trillion. That's an increase of $2.983 trillion, yet government deficit spending during that period only totaled $1.323 trillion.
What other factors are contributing to the debt?

if you rase minimum wage its not like you are really giving anyone more money to spend it has been proven time and time again that the price of goods and services go up a little more than what minimum wage does. So you are getting nothing in return you are actually loosing on value of what your dollar can buy. Is it because someone gets a little more jingle in thier pockets and it makes them feel better? The people at by this are are just pawns of the political party that is pushing this crap. I would like another piece of crap pie give me another raise. what a joke!

1. It's illegal (The law can be changed to make it legal)

2. They take jobs from citizens. (How many people do you know that are unemployed or got laid off because an imigrant took their job?)

3. Crime. (Crime is high already due to it's citizens)

4. Overcrowded schools. (If they become legal, we can tax them and contribute the funds for schooling.

5. Economic impact from wages. (If they were made legal, minimun wage would take effect and it wouldn't disrupt other wages) (An arguement could also be made stating the cost businesses save is redistributed back into the economy from low wage)

Please list any other concerns I have missed.

Need info...a woman who committed financial fraud agaisnt me (89 counts) has been indicted by the grand jury for two other drug charges. The DA told me he was going to present the financial charges by "accusation" and there is no need to go back to a grand jury with the financial charges. Is this correct and what does that do to the strength of the fraud case.

Thanks

I'm reading through these comments on here and it seems to be that everyone is blaming America for these British soldiers getting captured. Why is that? It was a Iran who captured British soldiers. Come on people we are Americans, act like it.

As in, I know you cannot legally say anything bad about the company you work in, or make it look bad in any shape or form, but if a manager says you have to do whatever they want outside of company time, are you legally required or it's prison time?

You should not let the media tell you legal immigration is OK! It is not because of the millions of displace several generational Americans! Neither are the unemployment statistics correct for people "legal Americans" wanting & needing job/income! No other nation in the world allows millions a year to show up take jobs from their vested citizens!

I got pulled over today for a tail light bulb out, but I didn't have my registration with me at the time so he gave me a warning (not a ticket) and said I had 10 days to fix the light and show an officer my registration and have him sign it and turn it in. 10 days until what, is my question? Some of my friends have gotten warnings, and NEVVVER turned them in, and nothing ever happend to them. I don't need advice, I know what to do, but I'm wondering what happens if you don't turn it in? Anyone ACTUALLY KNOW? This is in Aurora, Nebraska, so they're alittle easy on people for this kind of stuff.
