I thought at first that you were going to say 'reign of terror'!
Nothing has improved for me, just the opposite. I am poorer, feel much less safe, am very worried about the constant surveillance we are all under because I find it very sinister. I also hate the fact that it seems that the law is on the side of criminals. I am also almost constantly worried about my son who is in the Armed Forces.

Hahaha. You having a laugh? Labour have done nothing to improve my life, nor anybody elses unless your're bone idol, have 8 kids and spend your life sponging off the tax-payer.
I am taxed to the hilt, live in a society where dangerous scum roam the streets who would have you killed if you so much as look at them the wrong way. The health system is such as shambles that you could go into hospital with a broken foot and still end up in the morgue if you unfortunate to contract the MRSA bug in one of any number of unclean hospitals.
The list could go on.

They have taught me to live in the real world, having crushed my dreams of home ownership. Their taxes have taken the shirt from my back, encouraging me to appreciate the simple things in life, like my tent. Now with my Airfix glue and paper bag, i breath in the joys that years of a Labour government have brought.

They have significantly reduced NHS Waiting lists, so if I do get ill I will be treated sooner. And I've now just got an NHS Dentist again (first since the Tories drove them all away circa 1990).
They have invested in education - smaller class sizes and new school buildings. Benefiting my children and ensuring a higher skilled workforce of the future, who will be paying my pension.
Improved the lot of pensioners with free eye tests, free bus travel, etc. Something for me to look forward to, and helping my mother at the moment.
Stable economy with no meddling in interest rates. Keeps my mortgage payments down.
Reduced my Road Tax - because I don't feel the need to pose around in a large car.
Started to improve the railways again, after the disaster Tory of privatisation.

We're off to see the Wizard, the Wonderful Wizard of Oz...Now that's a mirage if ever i have seen one! We traded it for peace at any price, gave into crazed environmentalists, sold the infrastructure of the United States, opend the door to millions of Illegal Aliens, gave away most of our Rights as Citizens of the United States in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Amendments, became anti-family, Raised the taxes and they outsourced all the jobs as a big thank you! It takes a village of trolls!

They have made life easier now that inflation is not running at 12%. Having a period of unprecedented economic stability improves everybody's life.
They have helped my grandson in the sense that they have given large sums of money for the council to spend on the local schools.
They have stopped the vicious and inhumane pastime of foxhunting, which makes me feel better to know that we are gradually being dragged out of the middle ages.
These and many other things. I think they have done a lot of very bad things too, the worst of which by far is the invasion of Iraq.
But people who complain about the state of the country tend to be either too young to remember what it was like under the last administration, or in a state of denial about it.

Minimum wage, better social services, consistently low inflation and interest rates, no risk of Michael Portillo becoming PM..
