1. It is illegal for a reason. Poor people can not make enough money to pay even for the $10,000 per child it costs to educate a child in California for a single year - more if that child is an ESL student. Poor people, and disproportionately immigrants, use our social services, including for their children, who though born here, would not have been if their parents hadn't come illegally to have us pay for their families.
2. They take jobs from citizens by undermining the wage to what citizens can't take as a living wage. Look at what has happened to meat packing wages and construction wages in the last 15 years.
3. Crime is disproportionately high from illegal immigrants, and there are many studies on this. Plus every crime they commit is avoidable entirely, were they not here, which is not true of our legally present citizenry.
4. As noted above, they drain our education funds and overcrowd our schools and will never make enough money to pay their share. Plus money does not translate instantly to classrooms and trained teachers. In LA schools are on 'year round' schedules, classes in middle school often are in the mid to high 40s of students per teacher, and a huge percentage of our teachers are on emergency certificates. Are you really suggesting that you can put MILLIONS of children who don't belong here into a school district and have no negative impact?
5. Economic impact goes way beyond minimum wage, and if they are legalized they could bring in family including indigent parents and others to drive down wages. Plus the ongoing 'guest worker' program is being designed specifically to bring down wages. Plus the money isn't redistributed when they are estimated to be sending $100 billion out of the country by 2010.
Others are draining social security funds since the moneys paid in by some of them don't begin to offset their costs even without social security benefits, and their benefits would be more than they paid in. In addition, bringing in more family particularly indigent parents would drain our services further.
There are really too many concerns to go into at once. Health care is similar to schools.

Illegals started showing up in the early 1970's in mass droves. This was primarily due to a shift in hiring processes within the agricultural industry. It reached a head to a point that illegals were granted amnesty in 1986.
What that ended up achieving is prove to the world that the US doesn't hold anyone accountable to immigration laws. As a result, even more people started entering the US illegally, in higher numbers than before. Over the past three decades, the total number is estimated at 28 million illegals.
Now we're looking at issuing a guest worker program, effectively, another amnesty.
As proven before, this only exacerbates the problem, as we end up with more and more illegals. Which ultimately brings up the question, when will it stop or to what level will it continue?
Given the attitude of your question, the only position you'll support is flinging the doors open and tell everyone to come on in. Should we do this, it will only be a matter of time before our economy and then government structure collapse. As resources wear thin and fighting for survival increases, we'll have a nation not unlike Somalia, where street gangs will rule and the prospects of death will look better than the prospects of life.

Well, if you're so right then why did the illegal immigrant population increase by 400% to 600% since the 1986 amnesty? They were made legal via the amnesty laws in1986 and proved that it's not legality that they want. Don't you understand that they don't want to become citizens? They want to take over the country for Mexico and Venezuela and Cuba! The "proof is in the illegal immigrants actions". If what you said was true, then they would already be paying taxes instead of sending 50% of their money back to their country of origin.
Why should we allow a specific group of people to ignore our laws and then get a reward for it?
Additionally, we cannot change the law via ex post facto laws. It's unconstitutional.
I believe that the actions of the illegal immigrants themselves are the best explanations of why we shouldn't allow them to stay and why we shouldn't legalize them through amnesty or any other giveaway program again.
Besides, you would think that the corruption in mexico would decrease when they send all their lawbreakers north, but it hasn't.
As to the job issues. We have lists of thousands of American Citizens who have lost their jobs due to illegal immigrants and H1bVisa Holders.
Our government has committed treason against its citizens by failing to enforce the laws that it passed. Therefore, if our government has no integrity and claims that it can't enforce the laws it passes, then why should any American Citizen fund a treasonous government? Why shouldn't we withhold our taxes and refuse to pay their salaries?

1 YES it IS illegal to sneak into this country! We do NOT get to "pick and choose" which laws to obey or not!!
2 I know LOTS of people who have lost jobs directly due to ILLEGALS undercutting them!! Illegals do NOT just work "field" jobs!
3 Sure crime is already high, and THAT is exactly why we do NOT need even MORE criminals over here!!
4 Our tax dollars are being WASTED on ESL classes, when that money should be going to teach OUR kids!! And, do you really belive that the solution is to "let them become legal"?? Even if they DID pay taxes,it would amount to NOTHING!!
At the end of each year, they could get Earned Income Credit,so they would actually be getting back MORE money than they ever paid in!! Do you know where that EXTRA money comes from?? The other TAXPAYERS!!
5 You have NO clue what you are talking about!!!

NO! I say we build a penitentiary on the border, If an unlawful is caught they're concern to ninety days no longer hassle-free hard artwork development our wall. Then to pay for the components, We grab each and each of the illegals property and autos, and that of every physique crossing. If that's no longer sufficient we end paying Mexico to attempt against crime "a million billion" and use that. If caught a 2d time he's concern to 6 months no longer hassle-free time. every physique caught with drugs is an computerized a million year. There would desire to be a effect for their action or they'll save coming.

6. Because of the influx of illegals that are coing from Latin American nations.
The reason that I point this out is because America has made great strides in regards to the racism that existed for hundreds and hundreds of years towards Blacks; yet many of the people that come from Latin American countries are overtly racist towards Blacks who they consider to be "dirty," "smelly," ugly," and many other sort of offensive remark that can be attributed to Blacks. I can say this because I have read many books, articles, and interview transcripts which say so. Actually, in the city of El Paso where I reside, I have been called a ****** (by Mexicans) more times in 6 years than in my 30 years of residence in my home state of New Jersey! I've even been called a ****** by some of the kids in the school where I teach (which is 99 percent Mexican)!
I am not saying that all people from Latin American countries hate Blacks, but a large majority do. Remember that the slave trade went through many of these countries, so slavery existed there as well; but, since many of these countries are not as "civilized" as the US, the ill-will and hatred towards Blacks still exists.
The correlation between the population that comes from Latin American countries and their illegality is that when there are so many people coming to the US illegally, the likelihood of them being poor and uneducated is highly likely. Thus, the more poor and uneducated they are, the more likely they are to be racist.

Oh, I know what you're waiting to hear, and I'll give it to you. The reality is that they are a cruder, less developed civilization who would send this country closer to becoming a third-world cesspool. They could care less about our high culture and developments, and ultimately would want to control the whole enchilada. Their presence destroys the quality of life of americans (whites and blacks) and makes the entire country quite inferior to what it once was.

How about the diseases they bring in? For example, TP was rare until the illegal aliens started flooding over the border.
