case?

Doesn't he know the real reasons?

Or is he just afraid to admit that the one of the reasons that they hate us is because of the Republican failures in their Mid East Foreign Policy over the last sixty years starting with Ronnie Raygun?

The radicals want freedom too......freedom for American domination of the middle east.

The US can't stay out of anyone's business.....and this has been going on since WW2.

They hate us because of our ME foreign policies over the last 60 years, starting with REAGAN?

Son, I'm not THAT old. The Reagan years were only less than 30 years ago. What's the excuse before that?

Oh, there was Carter. He made a show of having Arabs sign a treaty with Israel and then let Iranians take an Embassy hostage.

Freedom is a threat to radical Islam because it means they can't control the population. They see the US as a nation of excesses and think that we should be ruled under their Caliphate.

Freedom may not be the only issue, but just look at the middle east. It's obviously one of the issues.

First of all - get YOUR facts straight.

Reagan was president from January 20, 1981 – January 20, 1989...

What does this have to do with 'sixty years' as you claim?

The Arabs (and Islamists) have hated America since the 1790's. Do some research before you make an even bigger fool of yourself...

President Bush does claim that the Arabs hate us because they live in closed authoritarian societies and we don't. The is fact. Bush never claimed this was the ONLY reason. Obviously there are many more.

You are a bone-head.

President Bush says it for the simple reason that it is true.

Definitely not true? Please explain.

Yes President Bush knows a lot of the real reasons. Hating us for our freedom is only one main reason.

You have access to a computer. Within thirty minutes, using Google or any other search engine, you could bring yourself up to speed as to when President Reagan served. It is my opinion, you would serve yourself better if you did just a mite of homework before posting questions that have little if any merit or truth.

If you, as a hater of President Bush or our country, are in need of some questions that make sense and are based on truth, please feel free to contact me and I will assist you.

Well Bush says that because he knows his little Bushies need simple reasons. They are not capable of understanding a complex thought process so something simple like they hate us for our freedoms works well for his followers.

The level of ignorance in America about why the radical Islamics hate us is truly frightening. It seems that people are too lazy to do their own research into things and just choose to believe 30 second talking points that sound good when regurgitated back at other like minded simpletons.

I mean I saw one respondent who said they hate us for our freedom of religion, I am willing to be anything that person doesnt know that in Iran you DO have freedom of religion, just the majority of people there are muslim. Oh well probably the same type of person who doesnt know the difference between an arab and a persian.

You couldn't be more wrong.

They do hate us for our freedoms.

You have the right to not go to a mosque and pray if you don't want to.

If you are a woman, you have the right to not cover yourself in a duffle-bag of a garment if you don't want to.

If you want to believe in a different religion, you have that right.

You do not have to sacrifice yourself and your children for a God who seems hell-bent on destruction.

You have the right to educate your daughters.

You have the right to drink a beer if you'd like.

You have the right to criticise your government and your religious leaders if you want.

You have the right to publish cartoons that deride things you feel deserve derision.

You even have the right to say really, really stupid things like: Why does Bush say that the Islamic radical extremists hate us for our Freedom when that definitely is not the?
case?

Not the case:
You mean they let women have rights to vote and go to school.
Islamic extremists are not into honor killing, stoning women for adultry
Such a free an open group doesn't mind if one converts to another religion.

I don't know what you base you idea on. If you are going to believe them the same people who blowup their own children.

I question your judgement.

They hate us for our intregration of women, and our vices including drinking, and prositution. They hate us also for our christian ideals and NOT being Muslim. they hate us for our freedom in some cases but dont neccesarily hate freedom only a handful. they say our morals are in the gutter but whos killing innocent people, and using children? Who uses human shields?

Let us get this straight.

We're supposed to respond to an "intelligent" person who thinks 26 years ago (when Reagan took office) is the same as "60 years ago."

Duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Funny how your sixty year time frame starts with Reagan, totally ignoring the stellar performance of his predecessor.
