Washington to stand up for us. Those down in Washington, no matter on what side their on, need to be reminded that the Constitution starts "We the people," not "We the Politician". Does anyone agree?

Also I think that our congressmen should only beable to surve two four year terms. Get rid of the lifers.

Absolutely agree. But the politicians will never give it back... we have to take it. We should do this with elections, but we keep electing the same old types.
I've become quit disenfranchised about the U.S. government and if this weren't "home" I'd find a new place to live.

I agree. You have to keep reminding your elected officials. Unfortunately, in some cases (Arlen Specter) it is like talking to the wall.
