Will you say you are sorry and we left too soon or will you blame Bush?

Blame the republicans, if they are still in office. If not say they did nothing to prevent it when they were in office.

Of course they will blame Bush.

Another terrorist attack is bound to occur at some point in the future, either sooner or later. I wouldn't be surprised if something happened two weeks into the next administration's term (Jan of 2009, for example). Don't underestimate the terror cells; those people are not stupid.
They will 'test' the next presidents resolve, no matter whether it is a Dem or a Repub.

Withdrawl form Iraq is a lose/lose situation. Either way it will become political fodder. Political parties are just plain stupid. They isnstiute policies to perpetuate their own parties, regardless of the effects on the American public.

Does this mean that the Iraq debacle was a mistake? I say no. It had to be done now or in the future. Bush was correct to nip it in the bud before it bloomed.

All the militant Arab Islamists will have to be dealt with eventually. Better to deal with them one at a time, rather than all at once.... Imagine the casualties if we fought all of them at the same time..

well i'm not a liberal but i don't think the war is being fought for the right reasons
as far as 9/11 it was a big surprize yes but history does repeat its self right
remember a little thing called pearl harbor once again a big surprize
once again in both cases the government should have been alittle quicker to react
they only thing anyone is really worried about is raising taxes and sticking their nose where it has no business
like i said in another answer if they wanted to find someone they could have done this years ago it was proven when they could track a cow and pin point it
so instead of thinking it's another 9/11 think it's another pearl harbor
until they start paying attention to the big picture instead of what party they will have this year yes it will happen again just another territory
history does repeat it's self it has been proven
as far as the troops they are doing their job they are the brave and they are fighting for the ones who had fallen in these times of disaster and i wish them the best of luck in the world

Bush will be blamed for not doing enough! And the Dem's in Congress will say the problem was not in withdrawing from Iraq, but the manner in which he he did so. If he had only listened to them, everything would have been fine!

And just think of the "investigations" we can have then!

lol

If we have another 911 type attack on American soil I will hold George W Bush personally responsible
BECAUSE
George W Bush wasted valuable resourses and TIME chasing a paper tiger in Iraq when all of that money and time should have been spent securing the United States of America.
But wait------why do that----Americans don't own oil wells

Maybe the attacks would happen to come from N. Korea, Iran, or other countries that actually are a threat and have literally called us out.

P.S.-It's not just the Liberals that disagree with the war in Iraq.

No. Being in Iraq is no guarantee that we won't be attacked again. Winning in Iraq is no guarantee that we won't be attacked again. Leaving Iraq is no guarantee that we will be attacked again. Why? Because Iraq had NOTHING to do with the previous terrorist attacks.
