I voted for Bush in 2004.I wanted him to cut my taxes and privatize S.S..He did cut my taxes. Then he strayed from the course.
Now we have government spending out of control and a new Viat nam just like the libs said we would.

Don't you think it's time to be emotional adults and admit he is a bad president?

Sorry it's not funny.

Don't believe you.

Iraq can only be Vietnam if a couple tens of thousands more troops die by tomorrow. Exaggeration is a liberal tool of propaganda.

The Dem's filibustered any good court nominees, and lobbied the privatizing of soc.sec. into failure.

Try blaming the ones at fault . Conservatives call this holding people accountable.

Unemployment is down lower than ever in history,
The economy has recovered way more than expected since 9/11, we haven't had a successfully terror attack since 9/11,

At war for 6 years and lost less troops than gang members in LA. in equal time.( TROOPS actually matter though, As far as gang members go,,,KILL THEM ALL LIKE THE COCKROACHES THEY ARE. Or putt them all on a boat to Venezuela and revoke their citizenship.)

History will support this president.

To equate the cost of war is to be defeated, we must focus on winning. Winston Churchill.

You are not alone in thinking he is a bad president. Remember, a president is better judged many years after his presidency term is completed and historians and scholars can autopsy his decisions based on events which unfold over time. President Truman was criticized by many who thought his dropping of the atom bomb on Hiroshima was unforgiveable. Many now realize that if he had not, many millions more would have died in both the USA and Japan. I do not always agree with his methods but I feel that history will redeem George Bush, especially when the USA is stricken by terrorism again.

that's politics, when clinton was elected the demos thought he would put more people on welfare especially many who voted for him, insted he did the opposite he cut the welfare rolls and made people work, basically taking a republican conservative positon

politicians first job is to win electins, second is to govern, third is to govern well, it is about retaining, acquiring and keeping power..and since Bush is not impeached nor resigned, Nixon, he is doing minimally something correct

franky the gov can run by itself, the President now is just for show, he has two years and no influence

the best idea is to have a six year presidency so that they do not start running for re-election after the second year in office

Is Bush a good President? No!
He is A GREAT President. I watched the twin towers burn on September 11, 2001. Do you remember how vulnerable we felt as a nation? There has not been another attack on our soil since. It was the policies of this President that protected this nation.
I fear for our future. If we must fight wars where there are no casualties, then we are doomed.
In WW2 we lost 30,000 soldiers a month. Today, we would be speaking German if we had to fight that war by todays standards.

I don't think that you realize the scope of the good works accomplished by the Bush Administration.

We do not have another Vietnam, no matter how hard the Democrats are trying to turn it into one. In 4 years of this conflict, we have lost less military personnel that were lost under the Clinton Administration when we were not in Iraq. How do you reconcile that one?

The economy is booming like never before. If things were so bad, do you think that would be possible? Unemployment is super low.

I'll be the first one to admit that spending is a lot higher than it should be but how much of that is the direct result of actions by CONGRESS. President Bush should have used his veto powers instead of letting the Congress get away with what they did. That was his mistake, but he didn't start these huge spending trends.

You need to set emotions aside and look at both sides of this, not just the left's.

Sorry, but Iraq is not another Vietnam. Soldiers coming back from duty there will tell you that 85% of that country is quiet and stable. An overwhelming majority of Iraqis say the country is NOT in a civil war. Turn off the Dinosaur Media.

I still have a great amount of trouble seeing our president as all bad...sure he can be an idiot...but he's only human.

We opened up a can of worms in Iraq, but to leave or back-down would be an agregious error.

Sure, the radicals of the world hate us, but put it into perspective- how would we feel if someone came in, toppled our government, controlled us and told us how to vote/pray.

I like the rest going on though, as long as they leave my boat alone!

Admitting he is a bad president has nothing to do with being emotionally adult. It is called "being aware of the facts".

Yes I am republican, yes I voted for Bush, yes Bush is a bad president, yes I have the emotional sophistication of a 4th grader (Bush makes me mad and he is a poopy-head).

The problem with your question is, what does admitting that he is a bad president accomplish?

I actually voted for Gore in 2000, but I voted for Bush in 2004. I think he is very good on the war on terrorism and taxes, I think he is an absolute screw-up on spending, immigration, and border security.

I do, however, think he is magnitudes better than any of the options that the Democrats put forward.

In that you are comparing Iraq to Vietnam indicates that you know little about Vietnam or Iraq. Things are actually going well now. The main issue has always been that we were trying to fight a "nice" war. Screw that, you kill your enemies and fight to win (which we have finally started to do).

But once again, I ask you, what does running around screaming that Bush is a bad president accomplish?

hmmm did you ever stop to think that we are exactly where the dems said we would be because they caused it. if we bombed the hell out of iraq; which just for the record is how you win a war, how do you think dems would have reacted? they set you up in a lose lose situation and then complain about you loosing. you gotta outsmart them before they outsmart you.
