Who are "they"? What do you call the sarin attacks in the Tokyo subways, the bombs in the London subway, the train bombings near Madrid, Spain, the nightclub bombings near Kuta beach in Bali? Children's birthday parties?

What about 30 years of bombings and shootings in Northern Ireland? At the same time, what about the Basque terrorists attacking targets in Spain, they killed the Spanish prime minister back in the early 1970s. Ever heard of the Red Army Faction or the Baader-Meinhof group? How about Black September? What about the Munich Olympics?

In the 1970s someone put a bomb in a trash bin outside a hotel in Sydney, Australia where the President of India was staying. It exploded prematurely killing a policewoman and other people.

What of the several attempts to kill President Charles de Gaulle of France during the 1960s? What about the assassination of the Archduke Ferdinand in Sarajevo in 1914?

How many terrorist attacks have been in the USA recently? Counting Oklahoma City, which was home-grown, there have been two attacks on the World Trade Centre and I can't think of any others, you would have to go back years to get to plane hijackings to Cuba etc. Then you have to look for lone loonies like the Unabomber bod who targeted airlines and universities.

You are quite ignorant. On 7 July 2005 4 bombs went off in London on the tube system killing 52 people and injuring 700. Those injured lost limbs and were severly burned. The attacks were carried out by muslim extremists linked to al-Qaeda.

In 2004 there were train bombings in Madrid which killed 191 and wounded 2050. The official investigation by the Spanish Judiciary determined the attacks were directed by an al-Qaeda inspired terrorist cell.

There are numerous other terror attacks throughout the world happening everyday. I would imagine that in terms of the number of separate attacks, America is one of the least attacked countries as it is the least vunerable. People are blowing other people up daily in some countries.

This kind of ignorance in Americans infuriates the rest of the world.

Um, excuse me, accept for Oklahoma and the WTC, there have been no terror attacks in the US.

Compare that to:

Several bombings in London by the IRA from 1960 to 2002
Several bombings throughout Spain by ETA from 1955 to present.
Several bombings and murders throughout the Middle East since 1948 to present.
The bombings in Bali, Indonesia, the Sarin Attacks in the subways of Tokyo.
The bombings in Berlin and Paris.

What was that again about the rest of the world???

Have you been living under a rock? There are terror attacks taking place around the world on an almost daily basis. Granted, not many of them are as high profile as what occurred on 9/11, but that doesn't make them any less real. Terrorism is a worldwide problem, and it will take the entire global community to solve it.

Where do you live? in a bubble? Terrorist attacks happen almost daily, around the world. It is only big news in the U.S. because it happens so rarely. Remember the double decker bus in England that was blown apart? How about the train in Spain that killed several hundred people from a terrorist bomb? How about the subway station in Japan, where the terrorists used the gas that we now know is called Serin? How about all of the Embassy bombings? The list goes on and on....

What terror attacks in the USA??
You had 9/11 to give you a sample of what people in other parts of the world live everyday.
SIt down for 5 minutes and think how easy it is to pull off a terrorist attack in your community, it's easy.
Then come to the realization that you have a bigger problem with influenza (36,000 deaths per year) than any boogie man terrorist.
You have been conned

Where have you been? Terror attacks go on all over the world. The trains in Spain. The subways in London and in Japan. The USS Cole in Yemen waters. US Emassies in East Africa. Baghdad. Afghanistan. Isreal. Egypt. Before long, I will be naming every country in the world.

All you're showing here is your own ignorance, and you're insulting the victims of terrorism. Terrorism happens EVERY DAY in all parts of the world - mostly to civilians in Iraq, Sudan and Afghanistan, but also in India, Pakistan, Indonesia, the Middle East, Russia, Europe, Africa - all over the world.

You need to educate yourself. You can start with the link below.

There have been terrorist attacks for decades in other countries.
Prior to 9/11, how often have you watched or read world news?
