Ditto-heads are channeled from their master and like worker bee drones say, "bad liberal media"..." bad liberal media". Putin, in Russia, 2 years ago stopped criticism of his government by buying back television news media. Now, all the Russian news is pleasant and depicts patriotic themes. Is this what ditto-heads want?

Putin said the media had an anti-Russian bias and was thwarting Russian advances, like what ditto-heads say about American media. LOL

Its exactly what they want. They need the objective morality to make themselves feel good about themselves by default. If they define the opposition to be evil by default then they can make whatever changes they want appear to be good.

Bush and the conscum media elite have got these poor people so damn brainwashed, they could institute Stalinist Communism in America tomorrow as long as they blame the liberals first and then rename the process as something patriotic, and the conservatives would just lap it up, because not one of them is smart enough, secure enough or independent enough to realize what real Communism is until its too late.

Wait a minute..
non-existent middle class
Warrentless wiretapping
supression of civil liberties under the name the Patriot Act

Looks like its too late already.

Here's a challenge for you and a lot of others: Travel to another country and listen to their radio or television programs when they speak about events and issues in the United States.

I was in Canada when the U.S. was four months into the war with Iraq. The reporting from their media was quite an eye opener for me.

Seeing and hearing what they were reporting was like stepping out of a place in time and learning for the first time loads of things I never knew about.

Troubled issues they were reporting on were far more descriptive and negative than what we're normally subject to seeing or hearing. Likewise with the positive issues they reported on.

Most of what I recognized was people here in the U.S. are hand-fed and pampered with regards to the child-like, edited, information we receive.

You refer to Limbaugh followers as ditto-head drones more or less being brain washed.

Are they? Or are they just more objective by learning not to live inside the can our Government prefers to keep us in?

Flame me, quarrel, bicker or slit my throat, but all in all our government officials, the media, and most political officials in the U.S. don't do sh!t about helping OUR Country unless they have something to gain from it.

Both parties are worthless as far as I'm concerned. Actually, it's not the Political Parties that are worthless, it's the people running them who are worthless.

When a man and wife marry they work together to maintain a household and nurture their children. In Government, people are elected to perform a task, not spend their entire time fighting amongst each other for whatever gain that suits their personal agenda.

If someone is getting all their information from Rush Limbaugh, their facts are about as credible and valid as those who get it from the so-called "liberal media". And a media controlled by the government is a communist trait; Russia, both now and as the Soviet Union, North Korea is the same way.

Sure. I can mention the fact that I froze my @$$ off this winter. Global warming is a socialist scam to steal money from MY wallet. And algore is the chief thief. I can mention that liberal democratt Politicians say they "don't hate America", but they certainly hate the America that we grew up in, the one that conservatives want to preserve. I can say that islamofascism has only one goal, and that is to impose their sick cult on all of us, and to kill those who stand in their way or refuse to accept islamic rule. I can say that with current worldwide population trends, eventually the islamofascists will breed themselves into power, first in the EU, then Canada, and if liberal politicians and the drones who follow them have their politically correct way, the USA. It will probably take 50 or 100 years, but if we don't stop them now, we will have no way to resist them later. I can mention that we have a communist tumor growing in our own hemisphere that needs some radiation therapy

There. Some world observations, and not a word about the obvious.

I think what most conservatives want is the news of the day without bias. It's human nature to present information in a way that supports your personal biases. The problem comes when you present your bias as the only point of view.

People like Rush and Hannity are idiots in that they present everything as either black or white. They don't recognize that there's a blurry gray area in all issues. The difference is that they're not presenting their view under the guise that they are neutral. Everyone knows they have a conservative bias.

A prime example is Dan Rather. You know, he may honestly believe that Bush went AWOL...a lot of people do, but he was so blinded by his bias that he threw away his objectivity by using the fraudulent documents that supported his personal view.

In doing so, he was trying to influence an election. That wasn't his job.

Like BuggedinMN, I have long believed that the only way to get intelligent news is to watch CBC (Canada) or BBC (UK). They have no 'agenda', and actually report NEWS!! Imagine that! And more importantly, there are no 'feel good stories' like the ones featured on the 'so called' national news broadcasts in America. I still can't believe that the national news, which is only 30 minutes on CBS, still finds time to report a feel good piece on soldier's wives or kids somewhere. Isn't there enough going on in the world to report on? Guess not...cause if it isn't going on in the US, it just aint' worth reporting! Sigh.

The problem with the bulk of our media is not that it is biased, but that it is openly anti-american. This has more to do with internationalism than it does with conservative vs. democrat.

Media not withstanding, I think the problem that most people have is that they are not inquisitive. They take anything they hear in the media (be it liberal or conservative) without question. I just wish people would think for themselves, and do a little independent investigation.

To deny that the majority of the media isn't liberal is just sticking your head in the sand because you don't want to hear the truth. You can only hide behind your puppet master for so long.
