I can't imagine two bigger servants of corporate globalization and the wars that create it, and there is not a dime's worth of difference between them.

Yet you can bet next year "loyal Democrats" will be telling me that Clinton is the "lesser of two evils" and the McCain represents the "status quo" instead of "change".

And I said that's the stupidest thing I've ever heard!! Going 45 in a 40... freakin please.. the cop had no car, bike nothin, just walked out in front of him on the street (very very stupid on his part, its a really busy street) and gave him a ticket for 5 over. I said I would have just kept goin, if he had no way to come after me then forget him!!
But anyway, I told my friend to fight it, and the p***y he is said no... I'll just pay it. But my thought if you just take it into court it would be thrown out as a waste of time. What do you all think?

We have been having an on going property dispute with our neighbor. They have resorted to calling the police on us constantly, and sad to say the police are taking there side. They have informed he to video tape our every move, and to file restraining order. I know we are not perfect people but we do nothing that will hurt them, exept live our daily lives. Is it right for them to tape us in our daily activities?

I am wondering when you adopt a child from birth, as in taking the child home from the hospital with the paperwork already signed. What are the laws in regards to the birth mother changing her mind after you have taken the baby home? Can she just get custody back? Is there a statute of limitations? Any answers greatly appreciated..

Ok, so your a drug dealer, you get arrested you might spend 2 years in prison, back on the streets doing your thing again, you commit murder, you probably spend max 5 years unless you have good time or the jails are over crowded, possibly out in 3 years, or you just get life and sit there with 3 square meals a day, living it up normally just being babysat by an adult authoritive figure, I feel they should send all these criminals, drug dealers, gang bangers, etc, to the Middle-east or to Guantanmo Bay. We tax payers fund the prisoners in America anyway.

I have 100. You have 5. 3 is what you need to live fairly comfortably - cable, internet, decent house, decent car, one big and one small vacation per year, health club membership, couple of nights out a month, and your bar tab of course.

I'm No. 10. Out of thousands. You're at the 70th percentile.

Ten years from now, I have 160. I've slipped down to number 40 because so many people have even more. You're at the 55th percentile and you have 8 or 9, and 4 is now what it takes to live comfortably. The "top 1%" have a greater percentage of the total wealth but the total wealth has increased and it's not the same 1%.

Your ability to jump from 70th to 55th (Ginni coefficient) is the same as it used to be and it's the same as it is in Scandinavia, but the gap between 55th and 70th is greater than it used to be and much greater than it is in Scandanavia (you have the same chances of increasing your income by $15K as a Scandanavian has of increasing his income by $5K.

for example; an active duty female who wants an abortion. will a military hospital provide such a service? dependent females who are eligible for medical care at military hosptals; can they obtain an abortion there. Female Veterans who are eligable for care at the VA hospitals; can they get an abortion there? if the answer to any of those questions is yes, then is it not also true that republicans who endorse the military and/or VA budget, are also endorsing "pro-choice"?

My brother got mad and killed my dog. He was fed up with dog pooping on the floor and not staying in the yard so he got his rifle and shot him in the head. He has anger issues and he took it out on a defenseless animal. I believe he belongs in jail for what he did but my family does not agree. I went to the police and filed a report with animal control.I guess I just want to know how others view this, if what I did was the right thing. I am very upset about this, I love my brother but I think he needs help, and I don't know what else to do. He also admitted to killing our previous dog by kicking it to death. We just thought he died of natural causes. Please help and please no rude comments. Thanks

Can a dentist's office (or any medical care provider for that matter) withhold your records if you owe them a bill? What if you are making monthly payments on that bill? Are there different rules from state to state? (I'm in Texas, in case it matters.)

Thanks...

Yesterday he got in a fight and was punched very hard in the face about three or four times. Apparently his brain hemoraged and thats how he died. Can the person who did this to him go to jail? And on what charges?

Well, the Senate is talking about issuing subpoenas for Rove and Meyers to testify under oath and in public about this administrations’ abuse of power concerning federal attorneys sacking and replacement without Senate approval of the replacements. Why is this administration so against this? Bush comes out with an excuse of separation of Presidential powers (total B.S.). Does he have a problem with Congressional oversight of what he’s doing? Such oversight is constitutionally mandated after all. Does this mean he doesn’t like the Constitution getting in his way?
