Basically, you've been conned into believeing you'll be better off, with a fake 2p cut in income tax. If your single, childless, and earn less than 18k, you'll be worse off. If you earn 30k +, you'll be better off...unless you drive. Its all smoke and mirrors, don't trust Brown as far as you can throw a piano, he's a Marxist, who believes that YOUR money belongs to the state.

Gordon Brown is a money robbing B*****D this government will do us all with more stealth taxes & it aint spent on our children who are bottom of the world in respect of poverty.
It aint spent on roads, NHS or anywhere that it matters.
It goes in handouts mainly to themselves. What has the congestion charge done in london, its lined a load of peoples pockets.

I wonder how many THOUGHT that the headline grabbing 2 pence in the pound off income tax would mean they would be better off..??
And do you notice none of this comes in until one year before the next election..?

Car tax has gone down for cars with very low emissions. It's not dependent on engine size.

If you are a low wage earner, you will pay MORE tax. Middle-high earner you pay LESS tax. Smaller cars=less tax. Larger cars=more tax. Either way,you are worse off!

From what I understand is that cars that are larger than 1400 will go up. Fags will go up by 11p. Fuel tax up. Beer up. Wine up, all the things that we like go up, all I can say is UP YOU Gordon Brown you will not get my vote next time.
