Proof once again that all the democrats care about is trying to make themselves look like the good guys. Maybe they should show just how much they care and investigate all the pardons Clinton made on his last day in office and how many of those pardoned had been charged because of CLINTON'S scandals. Otherwise we see right through all this smoke and mirrors crap they're pulling now.

I've heard throughout the day on ABC radio that in Portland, anti-war protesters burned the American flag, and worse yet, an effigy of an American solider! This is an outright outrage that should have respectible Americans marching in the streets, not a "mostly peaceful" protest.

The executee/trustor is a FL resident. And is the will/trust in question, valid for the individual who is now a FL resident, or should a new one be drawn up, specific for FL? Most all of the assets (house, investments etc.) are in FL. Thanks!

I'm listening to a local talk show about Iraq and, what a surprise, the majority of people DON'T support our invasion of Iraq! Several soldiers have been on and they said that very few of their comrades support their own mission! Don't you think that all of the war supporters need to go over there as soldiers or civilan contractors to 'show them the way'?

It seems that every Republican candidate in the country gets at least cursory media mention, with the exception of Ron Paul. He's been in politics longer than a lot of contenders - why is the media virtually ignoring him?

The recent outing of pathetic conditions in a facility designated to provide medical care for the veterans that serve our country is nothing new. I live near a VA Hosptial, the conditions there have been terrible for years and is underfunded like most ALL Veteran services.

Bush tried to sneak a raise in costs to the Vets in one of his budgets awhile back. I believe that the DC elected officials should get no better medical care than those that Volunteer to serve our country.

Illegals have gotten away with free medical for years in this country. The hospitals write them off, but will go after an American tax payer as if they intended to steal medical care.

Our Vet's are subjected to red tape, mountains of paper work to make sure a member of the military that served this great country doesn't get more than they are entitled to. Our vets need lawyers and Congresman/woman to help get their war related injury/illness covered and receive their due benefits.

-- "...The will of the nation is the only thing essential to be regarded." --Thomas Jefferson to Gouverneur Morris, 1792.

.......Considering that most polls show opposition to George Bush and his administrations policies, is this quote relevant to what is happening in todays politics?

His personal motto was, "Rebellion to tyrants is obedience to God."........

--"If the appeal to arms is made, it will depend entirely on the disposition of the army whether it issue in liberty or despotism." --Thomas Jefferson to Edward Rutledge, 1788............

What does he mean?

Instead of taxing oil companies that already research alternative fuels, provide many jobs for US citizens, make comparatively low profit margins of 6%, and will only pass these additional taxes on to the consumer...

Why not levy a 95% tax on the top entertainers for alternative fuel research. Actors provide little to this country other than entertainment yet they complain the loudest about energy concerns. We could provide them with the piece of mind that they are affecting real change, for the $20 million they make a film they'd still have $1 million to live on which is plenty compensation for play-acting, and we won't appreciably effect the economy.

For example, using round numbers, the top 10 actors each year get taxed 95% on the $20 million they made per movie. We would end up with $190 million for alternative fuel research per year.

We all win.
