Not only an oxymoron, but it is physically impossible giving the what is known about physics at this time. It would take 100 supercomputers 1 mil years to determine the quantum physics of a universe where someone could be liberal and patriotic.

Um, no. Why would you think that? Liberals believe in following the Constitution and what the framers intended for America ~ how does it get anymore patriotic than that? Stop watching Fox News - that "fair and balanced" thing is crap - they mean it as their balancing out what they think to be the "liberal" media with a bunch of right wing crap. Try NPR or CNN!

No. I'm pretty conservative, but I don't question the motives of anyone who claims to be liberal. I might not agree with their rationale or approach on issues, but I don't question their patriotism.
Why can't it just be left at that? Why is there a need to be insulting?

No. Have you read the Constitution? Even the Preamble?
Five main goals in the Preamble: "promote justice, ensure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty"
Liberals want to focus on the general welfare and liberty.
Conservatives want to focus on tranquility and defense.
Both want justice, but define it differently.
