You are as confused and as wonderstruck as I am, on frozen minds! Amend the constitution and put an essential condition that a candidate qualifies to contest for a legislative assembly seat only if he was adequately educated; lived, shared, studied and experienced the conditions of citizens falling under different categories for a minimum period of two years and submitted a study thesis on the ills that plague the country and his/her solutions to it that should pass the test. Extraneous to this I would also suggest an extra line to their Oath that they would treat Legislatures as sacred places – peoples’ temples - and maintain discipline and decorum there. To qualify as a Doctor either in medicine or literature – leave aside political Doctorates - the candidates do it. Why political profession alone was left out when its practitioners stood on the top echelon as peoples’ servants? You had already come to the conclusion that it was not the country but I was the one who was moonstruck!

Rove can be Moff Tarkin and Dennis Hastert can be Jabba the Hutt. Hillary Clinton, ergo, is Mon Mothma, and General Petraeus can be Lando Calrissian.

And Admiral Ackbar was just promoted to head of CentCom.

I hope the troops in Tatooine are ok.

You people who are against the Death Penalty are truly unbelievable!

-Where's the "vengeance" in it?
-Where's the "unfairness" in it? Don't you understand that people like O.J can AFFORD top-of-the-line lawyers just like Magic can afford top health care?
-Why should we give a rat's *** about the criminals family? What about the victim’s family?
-How are criminals and the government on the same level as each other when it comes to "who has the right to kill"? Why shouldn't the government be allowed to kill heinous murders when they are an authority established by God to keep order and administer justice? It's like Jesus said: "Give to Caesars what is Caesars, and give to God what is God's." GOD ALLOWS GOVERNMENT TO KILL! PERIOD!
-Why does it matter if the death penalty is a deterrent or not? THE PUNISHMENT SHOULD FIT THE CRIME!
-And finally, why should we effin care if only 120 people out of the thousands put on death row are innocent? WE'RE HUMANS! WE MAKE MISTAKES! TO BAD!!!

FBI: Extremists driving school buses
By Lara Jakes Jordan, Associated Press Writer | March 16, 2007

WASHINGTON --Suspected members of extremist groups have signed up as school bus drivers in the United States, counterterror officials said Friday, in a cautionary bulletin to police. An FBI spokesman said, "Parents and children have nothing to fear."

Asked about the alert notice, the FBI's Rich Kolko said, "There are no threats, no plots and no history leading us to believe there is any reason for concern," although law enforcement agencies around the country were asked to watch out for kids' safety.
The bulletin, parts of which were read to The Associated Press, did not say how often foreign extremists have sought to acquire licenses to drive school buses, or where. It was sent Friday as part of what officials said was a routine FBI and Homeland Security Department advisory to local law enforcement.

If you got 15 credits towards an associates degree in Criminal Justice, would they give you E-2 when you enlist? If not, how many do you need?

And if you finished getting your associates degree while in the Corps as a 0351 (Machine Gunner), how hard would it be to get a job as a Police Officer?

One of the female soldiers interviewed said that the guys think a woman in the military is either "a b*tch, a who', or a dike". The women told stories about having to protect themselves against sexual abuse from their male counterparts. Does this mean women shouldn't be soldiers? Why can't men control themselves?

I was wondering why are we still in Iraq? We are not there because of 9/ll b/c almost all of the terrorist are not from iraq! I mean the people of iraq do not want us there and honestly i understand that, what if the US was in there shoes? What if antoher country came to our land and tried to change our government into what they wanted it to be? I know what we would do we would kill every single one of them, so why should Iraq be any different? And i know people from iraq dont like us but that is they way that it has been for hundreds of years so why do we expect it to change now that we put our military over there? Honestly i think we should let them live their lives and us live ours!!

Hi I have an essay question of: Which international relationship is of greater importance to the United Kingdom: that with the USA or Europe?

I have ended it like this:

The relationship with America can be said to be of greater importance historically and military and the relationship with Europe can be said to be of greater importance economically, the question is whether to make home with America or with Brussels.

Has anyone got any ideas I can add to improve it? Thanx.

Roger Nash Baldwin : the founder, and director of ACLU. At the time of the founding, he was deeply involved in the communist movement. In late 1935, he gave a speech that said his political goal was communism. Baldwin wrote the following in his college yearbook:

“I have been to Europe several times, mostly in connection with international radical activities…and have traveled in the United States to areas of conflict over workers rights to strike and organize. My chief aversion is the system of greed, private profit, privilege and violence which makes up the control of the world today, and which has brought it to the tragic crisis of unprecedented hunger and unemployment…Therefore, I am for Socialism, disarmament and ultimately, for the abolishing of the State itself…I seek the social ownership of property, the abolition of the propertied class and sole control of those who produce wealth. Communism is the goal”.”
