Is it because they have no true conservative that has a chance of winning in 2008? Trust me, i'm a conservative and i'm not very happy with the selection this time, so i'll vote for the best candidate that stands for conservative values. RON PAUL 2008!

I have been making a craft using downloaded images from the internet. Up until now they have been just gifts for friends. I've been thinking of selling them but am unsure how to check about copyright etc. Mostly they are old advertising images and celebritiy images. Any ideas, resources I could check?

I mean really...if we have to pay illegals and they want citizenship, why don't we just take Mexico?
They have a lot of property to develope, a cheap labor force, and plenty of natural resources to take advantage of. I vote "Viva La Annexation!!!"

This is taxpayer money used for grants and isn't that unfair to all those that didn't decide to go to college? Wouldn't it be better to just have the gov't back student loans? Right now stafford loans do not cover much, unless you go to a state school. Wouldn't it be cheaper for taxpayers and better for the students if the gov't stopped giving out free money to students and just backed a larger amount of federal grants, maybe up to $15k per year. Of course it isn't a perfect plan because it would cost the gov't more to pay back loans that students default on, but i'm sure something could be worked out. What is wrong with making students, like myself, pay in cash or take out loans to pay for school? College is a privilege, not a right.

The neo conservative stranglehold is is being buried beneath all the lies that sustained it's raw grab for power and greed.
The destruction left in it's wake is not yet over and will take many years - and good politicians -to repair. But it can be done if Americans hold our politicians to it.We did not in the past which is how these hooligans were able to takeover in the first place.
So the question is:
How many of you out there are as happy as I am about all this ??????

I mean, they're not hurting anyone physically. They're taking THEIR OWN life, NOT someone else's. Why does the government have the right to stop someone who feels hopeless from killing themselves. And I don't want a religious "God has a plan for you" answer. I want a logical answer.

Rep. Tom Davis, the ranking Republican on the committee, said, "No process can be adopted to protect classified information that no one knows is classified. This looks to me more like a CIA problem than a White House problem."
Plame said she wasn't a lawyer and didn't know what her legal status was but said it shouldn't have mattered to the officials who learned her identity. "They all knew that I worked with the CIA," Plame said. "They might not have known what my status was but that alone — the fact that I worked for the CIA — should have put up a red flag."

Now hold on. I thought the White House "outed" her on purpose. Now it's "well, they may not have known I was an agent, but they should have."

So basically she admits that nobody in the White House purposefully made the fact she was covert public because they didn't know she was. Yet she charges them with that very same thing! Hmmm.... who's really out to ruin someone's career?
