My sister's ex is a lazy useless deadbeat. He won't work and he won't help support his own children. He went to jail a month or so ago for being so far behind on his child support. . When he gets out of jail what will happen if he still won't pay? Will they put him back in jail?

First let me say that I don't intend this to be a partisan question and would appreciate it if you could refrain from answering with Bush or liberal bashing.

With that said, I'm suprised that the Administration said they had nothing to do with the firings of the 8 attorneys and then back tracked after the Karl Rove email came out. This seems similar to the CIA leak investigation when they originally said no one in the Administration had anything to do with leaking the agent's name, but backed off that assertion when everyone found out Rove leaked.

I find it hard to believe that the Administration would intentionally cover up their involvement when the evidence is there in records and emails, but that makes me wonder if Rove is misleading the rest of the Administration and hiding what he has said or done. Do you think Bush and his Administration really know what Karl Rove is doing behind the scenes? Do you think Rove misleads them about what he does until he gets caught?

White House Security Chief Reveals -- No Probe of Plame Leak There

Published: March 16, 2007 1:00 PM ET

NEW YORK Dr. James Knodell, director of the Office of Security at the White House, told a congressional committee today that he was aware of no internal investigation or report into the leak of covert CIA agent Valerie Plame.

The White House had first opposed Knodell testifying but after a threat of a subpoena from the committee yesterday he was allowed to appear today.

Knodell testified that those who had participated in the leaking of classified information were required to attest to this and he was not aware that anyone, including Karl Rove, had done that.

He said that he had started at the White House in August 2004, a year after the leak, but his records show no evidence of a probe or report there: "I have no knowledge of any investigation in my office," he said.

It seems, myself included, that no one can have a decent discussion any more. It seems to break down to name calling and insults without logic. Which side are you and what is your opinion?

In Communist China..they are allowed to stop you/search your bags anytime..is this also allowed in America?
Why did cops in NYC search my bag on the subway for NO reason?

I'm just a young girl minding my own business. Its a new rule/law/whatever of random stop and search in subways and buses.

Subway has 1000s of entrances that terrorists can get thru with no detection. Does Bush think manning only a handful of entrances is going to stop a terrorist?

Soon the govt will have the right to stop me anytime anywhere to seach my bag for NO APPARENT REASON. I was just WALKING for godsake! What is this..Communist China?

MEANWHILE, MEXICAN AND CANADIAN BORDERS ARE WIDE OPEN!! WHO'S MANNING THE BORDERS . This is like trying to kill cancer cells by targeting cancer cells, meanwhile smoking and drinking excessively at the same time.
WTF?

It makes me want to slap my forehead and say Duh!

Some churches have joined together against the raids, they are going to offer sanctuary. How? People sleeping on the pews? Are they going to take in any illegal who shows up?

People protest Bush because they are poor. They don't protest the government of their own countries.

People live here 10 years or more and never learn English and complain about being exploited.

The people who want a wall, how are we going to keep people from climbing over it or tunneling under it?

The people who want everybody to boycott businesses who hire illegals can't identify an illegal.

People don't want illegals to have driver's licenses, they prefer people driving without insurance who haven't taken a driving test and who have hit and run accidents.

Lets all put on our thinking caps...

I do not personally support abortion because of religious beliefs, so I do not have a problem with it. However, I think it will probably have little affect, as if someone wants an abortion, the untrasound will probably not make much of a difference.

"WASHINGTON - Members of extremist groups have signed up as school bus drivers in the United States, counterterror officials said Friday, in a cautionary bulletin to police. An FBI spokesman said "parents and children have nothing to fear."

The bulletin, parts of which were read to The Associated Press, did not say how often foreign extremists have sought to acquire licenses to drive school buses, or where. It was sent Friday as part of what officials said was a routine FBI and Homeland Security Department advisory to local law enforcement.

It noted "recent suspicious activity" by foreigners who either drive school buses or are licensed to drive them, according to a counterterror official who read parts of the document to The Associated Press.

I am only interested in what conservatives have to say on this one.

Some starters that I thought of are:

1. Refusal to defend himself. The US attorney firings is the most recent example. He has the right to fire at will, and refuses to defend against the Democrats.

2. Not fighting in Iraq to win

3. Iran is still a country

4. Spending like crazy

5. Lack of immigration enforcement
