Legally (not morally), who is at fault? If I'm in a parallel parked car, and swing my driver's side door open. A car driving along side couldn't dodge out of the way fast enough and crushes my door. Who is at fault? Hypothetically.

Thanks

so i didn't go to the first hearing. The judgment went to the plantiff. Now i was served again. To show up in court for showing assets, and bank accounts and the last two years of tax papers. titles, and any property owned. Yellow page ad my daughter placed for me 4 or 5 years ago. i never make a dime off of the ad. i became very ill. last year i was granted ssi. Disabeled. Like I said the name on the court paper is not my name, or my daughters name it's no name i've ever used in my life. I guess they made a mistake. I know i owe the money. I have no assets, i live in an apt. i get $670.00 a month. If I still don't go can they take my ssi? And if i do go will they not say, Oh well we had the wrong name. So lets just put your name on the papers? Please don't say get a lawyer. I can't afford a lawyer. If you have a better then thou attitude please don't answer. I need good advice please. If I don't go can they find out i get ssi or will they just find out my bank and seize

Hi ! My husband made an allotment to our other account . We have two navy federal accounts both of we are joined owners . On his MyPay account A checking is where his pay directly goes . Now he decided to make an allotment that will be deposited to account B checking ( again both accounts are in the same bank and same owner ) . Now the net pay has reflected on account A checking already but the alloted money is still not on account B checking . MyPay LES is not yet updated and all I can see is the net pay but not the whole list of where everything went ( military people knows what I am talking about ) . So my question is , is it normal for allotments to not reflect on the account it is supposed to go to for a little while due to transfer issues or should it reflect about the same time the net pay is forwarded to the direct deposit account ? Thanks for the help and please no dumb remarks .....

I see many questions asking why congress hasn't done this or that and I have to shake my head, HOW can you be having a political debate and not understand how politics works? The house is a democratic majority nad also votes by simple majority, the senate is a very slight democratic majority but requires 60 votes to pass, the we have a far right administration that has the power of veto over legislation, to overturn this requires a two-thirds majority in each house, so the reality is unless there is broad popular support amongst both groups nothing is going through accept the easy stuff, for everyone who is unhappy about this I say you need to use your voting power to support candidates who will help end gerrymandering, when the folks in office control how the voting district is divided we're screwed, so we need to look for solutions that are honest Here's a couple of ideas

The second Amendment garuntees citizens the right to bear arms. To hunt with and to rpotect their homes and family with. The government arbitrarily amends the constitution by passing laws denying citizens this basic right of self defense and to hunt for food to feed their families.

Explain to me why 22% of the elected Democratic Representatives have criminal records and that is never reported. Double standards.

supposedly i am under investigation for stealing from the store I work at... and I have not yet been interrogated by loss prevention... and its been almost 2 months.. but recently i heard that I am going to be spoken to... I didnt steal nor was i involved with the persons that did... but Im guessing by procedure I have to be questioned and harassed. but by law can they call me a liar even if they dont believe me?... because i know that they are going to harass me... and be mean and say that I stole when i didnt. Because i will end up getting an attitude really quick if im called a liar... by law can they do that? also Im not being scheduled... hardly at all... and when I have call ins... and I call in they dont use them....but when someone else calls in... they tell them to come in! is that legal as well?
