by bashing liberals? What do you get out of it? Is it sheer enjoyment? Are you trying to prove something? Do you think your bashing will sway us? Pray tell, what do you hope to accomplish here? Seriously.

The reason I'm asking is because I just got in here and there were about five questions in a row bashing liberals.

Chainsaw, what do I have anything to do with the liberal media?

Bubba...I feel your pain.

Mike, I agree libs bash cons too. I know. But, I come here almost daily that the con's bashing out weighs the lib bashing. I've actually sat there and counted...yeah, I didn't have much to do that day, but the numbers didn't lie.

Well said Mantis.

Thanks for proving my point Emily.

And some of you cons, I asked a serious question, but you still had to resort to bashing tactics. I was hoping I would get something more rational. Some of the cons actually had some good answers.

Again, well said L. Ranger.

2007-03-15 15:21:12 · update #8

Lovinlife, yes I have. I don't resort to name calling or questioning their IQ, but I have in retaliation. I don't do it when I ask questions.

Stewcat...read again.

2007-03-15 15:22:58 · update #10

Again stewcat, I don't blame Republicans all the time. Heck, the other night, maybe last week I heard a speach of Hillary's that made me wince. But, I'm talking about here.

Those who feel the need to elevate themselves by 'lowering' others will accomplish naught but that they intended to stop. It is difficult for either to accomplish anything because both parties stand steadfast against each other, disowning those willing to work with the other, in general. Democracy is not meant to be a war between two parties, thus our system is rather flawed. Democracy calls for middle grounds and many different viewpoints. Yes, agree I do, that those who simply bash others are counterproductive. Though I am not those who have done this bashing, I do apologize as much as I may for their actions, sorry. Look at it this way though, they only prove their own ignorance Fare thee well, traveler, and may your wisdom continue to grow and your life be prosperous.....

Look be honest with yourself. You sit there and say "Oh you conservatives why do bash us liberals" as if the liberals do not do it as well. I'm a conservative but man enough to admit the problem of bashing is a democrat and republican issue. It is because of people like you who believe that it is all Republicans fault and you Dem's are just innocent bystanders that there is a political gridlock.

PS. I read it Crystal clear the first time. Then I am williing to admit my mistake. lol On answers there is a bit of bashing, but still I think it goes both ways. Possibly sometimes more then others a certain party seems to be bashing the other a bit more though.

I, in general am sick of the bashing between either of the two. it is childish. The republican will say: the liberals are destroying our country, by allowing pornography and gays. The liberals will spout out garbage about how bush is an idiot and that republicans are greedy and support 'big oil.' It is sickening. Anyone who furthers this partisan trash should be ashamed. Can we not have a debate without resorting to attacking eachother?

Because of people like you....I personally will not bash anyone. I don't care what your affiliation is. The bashing is a product of simple minded people who have nothing better to do then sling mud at each other to intensify their own insignificant solutions to the problems that we all face.

It would be nice if we could all just work together for once...The political party instantiation seems to not be working out very well and you were all warned by the federalist papers....people need to learn their history, put aside their differences, and work together.

For me first comes complete enjoyment from proving them wrong, and pissing them off. Its rather hard to accomplish anything with liberals really. We basically point out all the truths about something and hope people realize the truth.

It only proves how right we liberals are that the republicans have to resort to character attacks and name calling to try to bring us down.

They do it because they are afraid of loosing power. As long as they are in power they feel like the world is their oyster..they will do anything to keep it, even if it means blowing up the planet in the process.
