Question for Y/A Conservatives?

Is it more patriotic to attack fellow American Patriots (Liberals) on Y/A because you disagree with their politics or join the military to fight Al Qaeda ?

Of course it's more patriotic to join and fight. Thats why our military is primarily conservative.

I do not agree that liberals are patriots. Liberals are self-absorbed in their own superiority, sleeping comfortably in the knowledge that the world will be a beautiful place as soon as they make all the decisions and distribute whatever wealth they haven't kept (stolen) for themselves. If you truly understand the nature and meaning of the American experience, you would understand that a patriotic liberal is an oxymoron.

The true nature of our liberty is the freedom to choose to whom and how we give our aid and assistance with the knowledge that we have pledged our lives, fortunes and sacred honor to give whatever aid and assistance, albeit to our last full measure of devotion, in support of that liberty to preserve and protect it for all here and to come. To a liberal, that is an enigma. How can we deplore the hatred you spew, the vile you spit forth, the atheism you preach, the innocents you slaughter, yet defend with our very lives the freedom that allows such things?

You never will be able to understand what is written above. That is why you ask such thought provoking intelligent questions and why you CAN (ability meaning intended) never be a patriot.

Since many liberals (i.e. Murtha) have already aligned themselves with Al Qaeda, I would go with option B. However, I already serve. Yes, a liberal person can be patriotic, but one is not patriotic only because they are liberal.

To join the military is important & I did my time for 6 years. It is equally important to fight our enemies 5th column our press & the defetist left. Neither group understands long term consequences of their actions.

This war will not be won over night. Bush in the beginning acknowledged that fact.

Force will not win this war, but there is a chance if the PRESS were actually leaders, challenge the IRAQI people to live up to what T.E. Lawrence felt they were capable of in the movie Lawrence of Arabia. In the end of that movie they showed themselves to be tribal in nature. The press needs to ask them have they grown up. As long as they choose to be tribal it is easy for outside agitators to insight Civil War.

By the way it does look like the warfare going on this sight shows we also are moving towards being tribal.

For those of us who can't join the military, this is are only outlet. But, before you accuse anyone of attacking anyone else because they simply disagree, I've been the victim of plenty of liberals who disagreed with my answers. It goes both ways as I'm sure you're aware.

Viet Nam vet! Drafted by a liberal, returned home by a conservative, who was later impeached, I can't tell them apart. The good guys won't run for office!!!!! We're left with the rejects, degenerates, moral infants, perferts, dorks, jerks, slimballs, and other bottom feeders that can't get a real job! God bless America!!!!
