I received a citation for disorderly conduct after a night of drinking.

Here is an excerpt from my city municipal court website where my court appearence is not mandatory and I can just pay a fee if I don't wish to contest the citation..

"The Municipal Court provides a neutral forum for hearing City Ordinance cases, where the penalty includes a forfeiture.... These are not criminal charges and defendants are not entitled to a free lawyer."

From the sounds of this I'm not a "criminal" in the legal sense of the word?

Does a forteitude show up on a "criminal record".

I'm concerned because I'm in the process of applying for a government job.

What: Gathering of Eagles

When: March 17th, 2007
0700-1600 (7 AM to 4 PM)

Where: The Vietnam Veteran's Memorial Wall, Washington D.C.

Why: To stand silent guard over our nation's memorials, in honor of our fallen, and in solidarity with our armed forces in harm's way today.

Taken from Mission Statement:
7. We vehemently oppose the notion that it is possible to “support the troops but not the war.” We are opposed to those groups who would claim support for the troops yet engage in behavior that is demeaning and abusive to the men and women who wear our nation’s uniform.

Will you be there to protect our Nation's Memorials?

The essential commodities like rice, wheat, pulses, oils, and other have raisen more than 50%hike for the past three years, making the common as well middleclass people not in a position to cope-up with raise in the prices, but the head of govt as well the finance minister are attributing other causes, ofcourse not taking any steps to arrest the price raise.

They send out a letter from a "collection agency" which claims that not paying it can affect your credit rating. I don't believe that this falls in their jurisdiction at all, considering that they cannot prove who parked the car in the first place. Any ideas/ thoughts?

We all know that the Bush Junta has committed many impeachable offenses, I have less than 900 charachters left to explain, but you don't need me to.

The point of the matter is, is it worth shutting down the government to do so? Morally and Politically? The last time that impeachment proceedings were underway, Congress put aside an anti-terrorism bill slated to create a department of homeland security - it never made it out of committee.

The other argument though is, how do we explain to our grandchildren, to history, that we tolerated this from an administration? What will they think of us for our failure to hold this criminal accountable? Bush ranks only behind Slavery on our list of travesties. Something needs to be done for the future, even if his dead-soldier-loving supporters object.

And this isn't an attack on a specific party, but people who do this in general. I see it from both cons and libs.

The continued expansion of american corporations around the world with the one controlling factor the capital needed for expansion being the United States green back that we print at will , has allowed us to dominate and control foreign governments for years .
This is the same thing as the state controlled expansion of communism with only a slight variation .
we call it freedom . The end result is millions of workers producing products for low wages while a select elite consume a variety of high end quality products and the masses languish in poverty .

Republicans make me sick these days as they have turned into imperialist capitalists no different then the ruling class of the communist party .

Bill Clinton would be six feet under.
Hillary Clinton would be right by him.
John Kerry would be gone
John Edwards would be too.
As would Al Gore,
and John Murtha,
and Nancy Pelosi,
and Joe Biden,
and Chuckie Schummer.
Michael Moore would have mysteriously disappeared.
As would almost everyone else in Hollywood.
ABC, NBC, C(the )BS, CNN, MSNBC, AND FOX News would all be the property of the government.
No one would ever have heard of Cindy Sheehan.
The anti war rallies would have become baths with everyone there .

I could go on and on and on

The Nuremburg Tribunal clearly states that is a crime to start a war "in violation of national treaties". Those countries who started the war clearly did it against treaties relating to the UN's veto.

I am. I love a good protest. It's so empowering and you meet a lot of really nice people. I just also want to let anyone that is marching with the Eagles to know that we are not there to disrespect our military or the Vietnam memorial. We hate the game, not the player and I have friends and family that have fought over there and I appreciate them risking their lives for us. It's just that I believe this war is simply for making money and that we need to bring the troops home. I respect them just as much (if not more than) you guys do. And we are only meeting at the Memorial, we are then heading to the Pentagon, so you don't really need to "protect" it.

Also, please, while you're there (Libs too here) try to talk to the other side and really listen to what they have to say. I think the "man" is getting off on this country being so divided. Afterall, the best way to hold people down is to keep them divided.

In Oct06 I went to the doctor feeling because my hair was falling out. Blood tests showed I was anemic.

A different doctor gave me results (lets call her Dr. 2), & prescribed multi-vitamins. I told her I've been taking multi-vitamins for the past 4yrs every day, so surely they wont make any difference. She said hers were better...

I went back again in December as things werent improving. I wanted Thyroid T3 & T4 tests in addition as I have a history & family history of thyroid disease. It took another 3 blood tests and the help of Dr.3, to finally get a T4 test, its a long story-problems with pathology.. I never did get tested for T3.

I went to see Dr.2 in Feb (all Drs are at the same surgery), & she referred me to Dermatology.

So, 6months after my 1st doctors visit this specialist wonders why I've been sent to him - and FINALLY I get prescribed Iron tablets - which they should have done in the 1st place!

What can I do (asides changing doctor's surgery). Can I take legal action?
